    Nin Iga Set Numbers Revisited

Really no idea where this goes, so I'll just dump the information here for those curious.

Below is a compilation of the approximate rate of "Augments Dual Wield" on the Nin Iga Empyrean armor set -- both partial and full set bonuses. For reference, "Augments Dual Wield" in this instance is an occassional extra swing with the offhand only (in this sense, it's more similar to Kick Attack with your offhand instead of foot than Double Attack, since it's based per melee round, not per melee swing).

Test method was afk'ing for hours with a parser running while using an Ihintanto and Lady Bell with the appropriate negative STR to hit for 0s against an Om'Hpemde. Subjob was removed. Obviously, no DA gear of any kind was used. Haste gear was used to keep the Om'Hpemde from deaggro'ing randomly.

    Zukin and Hakama

The different combination of gears was a meager attempt to discern if there was a difference in set bonus values between different pieces. No such conclusion can be drawn from the data. The relatively small sample size available for the full set was due to it being a gigantic pain in the ass of acquiring super rare -str food to bring my fSTR low enough to counteract the +str on the Ningi. It also explains why I couldn't get a sample of a 4of5 patial set with the Ningi on.

If you're a believer in whole numbers, data indicates a possibly the set bonus could be 2% (2/5 set), 4% (3/5 set), 6% (4/5 set), and 10% for the full set.

On a slightly (un)related note, I used the same method, with a bard running an infinite Threnody skill up macro on an Om'Hpemde to keep it facing one direction so I could test the value of the Double Attack on "Augments Innin" on the Iga Zukin +2. The sample size was fairly small because I had to sit at the screen renewing Innin and insuring attack rounds when the Hpemde turned were disregarded. And yes, it's true Double Attack in the sense that it procs on either hand.

Looking at your data and comparing with RDM AF3+2, I'm going to guess 2,4,7, and 10% respectively. RDM went 1,2,3.5, and 5 if I remember correctly, so NIN's set could just be double.
