Yeah. Honestly, he started becoming more of an antihero than a villain, so it sucked to see him go, especially out like a bitch like that. I'd rather have had Gannicus, Spartacus and Crixus all stab him after he killed Navia, lol. It would be a better way to go than to have his head get hacked off in 3 swings.

I didn't say he had made it to one yet. But he was getting very adept at fucking over the main antagonists while not working against the main protagonists directly. I mean, in the context of the story, one side are the romans there to handle their slaves, and until the very end of this season, the "protagonists" were just there for vengeance and to kill romans, not exactly a high and lofty goal, they are there to gain freedom, and so was Asher.

I suppose Asher is closer to the "Lovable Rogue" than Antihero.

Raping an evil manipulative woman that has caused the death of many is such a crime in the world of ancient rome, right.

I mean, how much of S1 was Spartacus going against what everyone wanted him to do? The majority of it, until they made him kill his friend and he tried to start forging alliances? The main difference between Asher and Spartacus is that Spartacus had a strength in physical combat, where Asher had a strength in verbal combat. The roads open to each, especially in their situation of being slaves, are different.
