In a fit a boredom, I decided to get the Gaige DLC. Is the robot bugged or something? He randomly uses the shield recharge skill on enemies and a lot of his AOE attacks are dealing damage to me and my friends, even killing us.

Assuming you have all the updates, Deathtrap healing enemy shields was supposed to have been fixed/addressed long ago. I'm not aware of deathtrap AoEs killing players though.

Edit: The only AoE that usually hurts players is someone using a Love Thumper. Speaking of which, I suppose Sharing is Caring w/ Love Thumper on deathtrap could kill people.
Edit2: Forum posts suggest deathtrap still occasionally heals enemy shields, so I'd just avoid the point in the skill if it's an issue.

I think I tracked the problem down. Skills like One-Two Boom! will register as neutral damage if Death Trap despawns. From what I've seen and looked up, Buck Up still isn't fixed, as he still heals enemy shields or tries to when they never had any to begin with. Sharing is caring is supposedly bugged since secondary shield effects don't carry over or something, just the base stats.

Other than Gauge being bugged and the loot system, (Should be more like Torchlight 2 where everyone has their own loot pool) I'm actually having a blast. Just can't decide if I want to focus more on the Little Big Trouble or Order and Chaos tree at this point. Also, is better half based on total or current clip size after Smaller, Lighter, Faster is applied?

I see. I have a 66 Gaige, but I don't use Buck Up and One Two Boom. I like the Ordered Chaos Tree down to Rational Anarchist and I have no idea when Better Half is applied.

After some testing, better half does exactly what it says and apples to total clip size after skill. Still a good ability no matter what.

I think I'm going to stick with order and chaos with rational anarchist to keep discord up infinitely. Tried it out with some vladof rifles and a jill of all trades mod, works out pretty nice.

Colorblind, Color vision deficiency, mode is coming soon
Borderlands 2 will make itself more accessible to those with colour vision deficiencies in an upcoming update.

The as-yet undated patch will introduce modes for three kinds of colour vision deficiency, designed to make it easier for affected users to spot the difference between normal and rare loot drops, which are indicated in-game by coloured beams of light.

In addition to altering the colours, Gearbox could implement addition effects, but because modifying the particle effects on the light beams would be too difficult, the developer has instead elected to add a colour tag on the text popup on loot.

The update’s release date will be announced in the near future, and will make three new colour modes available in the video settings menu.

Although those of us with the most common kinds of colour vision tend not to think about it, game interfaces often rely heavily on colour to convey information and can be a nightmare for those with rarer kinds of colour vision deficiency. In the full Inside the Box post about the update, Gearbox’s Jeffrey “botman” Broome gives a detailed explanation of how three kinds of colour blindness work, and how Gearbox has implemented various colour schemes to counter each condition.

Broome also commented that there’s a bug in the update which affecting protanopia mode, which will have to patched out in a subsequent update.

We didn't ever get a Hyperion space station raid, did we? After all that build up at the end of Tiny Tina's DLC, too

could always be the launching point for BL3/Borderworlds. Old hunters take the moon base where the new hunters are imprisoned for whatever reason, tutorial is helping clear baddies out of the base, then you start flying it to different planets.

Still 4-6 hefty DLC packs for "Season 2". Who knows where we'll end up.

I never got hard into Borderlands 2's paint, so I have no idea what I'm doing. I just finished normal mode + hammerlock DLC with a lv 40 Gaige, I'm guessing I should just move on to TVHM now since everything's capped way below me and thus farming legendaries would be a waste of time? I got lucky on a Hydra with 1900dmg on all 22 shots from my first Rouge, so it's been carrying me through everything thanks to my build (anarchy, ricochet, nth ricochet, blood claws), so that should be enough for the start of TVHM I'm guessing along with some golden key weapons?

    QFT.

Get level cap/Over powered 8. Assuming on PC, try and find BGers who can carry you through the course (drawing a blank on the name). You can grenade jump and skip most of it so an 8 hour escapade turns into 20 minutes. If on PS3, I can do it.

They fixed the grenade jumping in the most recent patch afaik although there is video of Salvador using grenade + rocket jumping to skip to the end of digistruct peak on another path.

to expand on my earlier post, torgue DLC is fucking fun as shit. though i'm pretty biased there; torgue is my favorite character. scarlett's dlc is so-so. it has good loot and (the first time through) is interesting, but not wildly fun like torgue. tiny tina's is long if you do all the side quests, but fun the first time. it also has good loot. hammerlock's... is not bad, the first time, but definitely the worst of the bunch. the annoying enemies don't help.

i haven't done the digistruct peak stuff yet, so can't attest to that. I highly recommend doing torgue DLC though. EEEEEXPLOSIONSSSSSSSS

Did the Torgue one, I regret nothing. Oh my god.

I WAS SUPPOSED TO SET UP SPONSORS, BUT I WAS TOO BUSY SUPLEXING A SHARK IN A BOLO TIE. YOU MAY ASK, WHO WAS WEARING THE BOLO TIE, YOU OR THE SHARK? THE ANSWER: YES.

Didn't get any gun replacements though, even the legendaries from the vending machine were weaker than what I currently have equipped D:
