From video's it appears to be about 8-10 seconds? maybe more? not 100% sure

It lasts 5 seconds, it has a 15 second cooldown, and it makes your next hit harder based on how long you're in deception. The bloodshed build grants you more time in deception if you kill something with a melee attack while in deception mode.

This is going to be a hard question.. but do you happen to use the regen 3.5% shield and +7.5% cooldown reduction killskill on zero in the bloodshed tree? Does that mean that if it's up for the full 15 seconds that deception is down it only cuts off 1.125 seconds? Pretty weak if so >.>;

OH, and are there items/mods that are only for your action ability or someshyt? Like, I read that zero has an accessory on his elbow, gaige a lunchbox, etc - da fuk is that? The class mod? There are 4 slots I see in videos: grenades, class mod, shield, ???

And I read that zero's blade can be enhanced in-game.. is that through items or only through melee+ skills?

Reason I ask is because axton's action skill really doesn't scale at all with weapons (salv's obv does, maya's technically does and so does zero's since both of them either make guns do more damage or more accuracy(wont miss)).

Edit: can you aim down sights while in fight for your life or is it liek b2?

I just unlocked that skill, but the way it's worded is that it's based off of your getting any kill whatsoever, so it cuts off 1.125 seconds per kill. If there are a lot of enemies, that's pretty nuts; fifteen seconds is already a pretty short cooldown. If there aren't that many enemies, well then you wouldn't really need deception that badly.

Class mod gave me +25% melee skill, I'm using a bladed handgun right now that gives me an extra 50% melee damage as well and I put 2 points into the low-health melee damage boost. Right now I can legitimately one-shot a goliath if I land a critical melee attack, but I'm only level 11.
