So I got lucky and it arrived yesterday, started playing today and just finished the Firehawk section, @L12 Zer0.

Thoughts so far.
1) There is a nice jump in difficulty, but it's not insane.
2) The game does have a habit of spouting funny NPC dialog at you in the middle of combat so you CAN'T pay attention to it. I missed one of the Butt Stallion lines. And unlike the first game, I can't seem to find a "replay quest dialog" option, though that wouldn't get you Jacks lines, and man, Jack is the best villain in while.
3) Still has the "snipe one dude, everybody aggros you" thing, but they slowed movement or something, and I'm finding it easier to pop targets as they rush me.
4) The new gun names are funny, but I miss the old descriptors that you could cross reference to the stat generation system, making eyeballing guns tougher.
5) NO ZOOM INFO ON SNIPER RIFLES ANYMORE! >:C

what if weapons had a chance to come with silencers? Could shoot without aggroing the entire spawn location so long as you 1hko - and silencers could come with damage-% or something!

I was thinking that while sniping today lol, was following a marauder with my scope, got the headshot and then switched into my regular guns to go into the hail of gunfire

Just beat it as 32 Axton (Dunno how long it was since I can't find playtime on PS3), I enjoyed everything up till the point where during the final quest areas normal enemies just rape you within seconds or one shot you, its like the game was balanced so you have to use rocket launchers and grenade reload guns or else you are just going to waste time/money, but I guess that's my fault for running it solo ALSO FUCK THOSE BADASS EYEBALL MACHINES IN THE ASS CHEAP PIECES OF SHIT. Final Boss fight/ending was excellent though, tip: there are 3 waves of loot so don't bother with whites when it dies.

Oh and ending song sucks.

Makes me really sad this is going to lose game of the year to halo. It really deserves the recognition. I haven't had this much fun with a game in a very long time.

Weird.. playing split screen and my friend was able to open the golden chest. I couldn't on the new character I was playing.. Very odd.

Just finished up first playthrough and I gotta say, holy fuck that was fun! Rolled as Axton on the survivalist tree and ended up at lv33

It's a triggered event near a certain tent in that area. Also, I loved the end of that mission.

For anyone that happens to have a double turret Axton, how does it work exactly? Do the two turrets get separate timers or does the 2nd one disappear when the first one's timer is up?

They share duration timers. The longer you wait to deploy the second one, the less time it'll be active. Also, your cool down timer doesn't start until after both turrets are gone.

Still haven't found this guy. I read a rumor that he may be a rare spawn on PC, not sure if true of if I"m just blind.

He doesn't stand out and can blend in quite well to be mistaken as a Sanctuary Civilian NPC but he usually has elemental weapons on his shoulders/back which help make him stand out in certain lighting of the days.

on console he's like 95% pop rate until
