Well, if it's any consolation, Maya has an entire skill tree that is useless for solo play lol
Which skill tree is that? I've tried all three and haven't found any of them useless on my solo Maya.
I used the Harmony tree almost entirely for my first playthrough, I would rarely die because I could get so much health back. Really don't see how it's useless.
Finally got to play the game over the weekend for about 12 hours. Still pretty early but just finished up the part where you
Spoiler: show
We've been doing a lot of side missions though, pretty much always finishing those before doing the main story. As much as this game has done right, there's a lot I feel it didn't improve on at all or feels like it's maybe taken a step back. Game feels about on par with the first as far as how much I enjoy it. Will probably just do one play through and call it a day unless it gets much better later on. Writing has been a bit of a letdown outside of the very beginning of the game, so I'm hoping to see that pick up too. Side quests have been kind of stale with the exception being the one where you rename the Bullymongs.
So, far, I have never had any issues with health, save for a sloppy run into the shock cave area(before I even arrived to Sanctuary for the quest lol). To me, Cata tree just seems logical for making stuff die faster, Harmony tree seems built for a cleric-role(plus, I really disliked the dependency on enemies being phaselocked to get the bonus portions of the tree).
To each their own though, I love how customizable this game is, so there really isn't just 1 right or wrong way to play :D Time to start today's session, hope to get my hands on some RPG-action soon.
anyone up for starting up a bg ass kicking team with a limie?![]()
I really like how much more engaging and tactical the skill trees are this time around instead of being just character buffs that you never have to pay much attention to after setting them. I'm running as Salvadore right now at level 40 with Gun Lust / Rampage skills the perks set you up to constantly swap your weapons how since you get damage bonuses from swapping / emptying magazines and instant reloads for all unequipped guns. Way more fun than permanent "shield / fire rate / health up" perks from the first game.
If anyone wants to coop add me on PSN. Preferably people who are starting on playthrough 2, with mic.
