Not only did the PC codes disappear in an instant, my Purple Gun from my orignal Shift Key just vanished when I accidentally picked up an item directly to being used with a full inventory. It vanished instead of falling to the floor.

In playthrough 2, grab an echo device out of Claptrap's fireplace in his home at the start of the game. You then have to walk all the way to the volcano in Eridium Blight. Yes, walk, no running or vehicles allowed. You also can't die. Then when you come across Geary, he slaps the echo device out of you, plunges into the lava and your reward is three red chests, one contains only purples.
