For you people curious about how to spawn Vermi.

Each varkid has a small % chance at having the ability to evolve into Vermivorous if they live long enough.

They DO NOT need to be damaged.
They DO NOT need to have other varkid around (but more varkid, more chances).
They DO NOT require the Blood of Terramorphous to spawn. (It does help.)
They DO NOT require X amount of Y types of varkids to be present in order to spawn.

If a varkid, or a group of varkid, have not evolved at all in 2-3 minutes, reset the spawn (by killing them all or moving to a different spawn).

To farm Vermi successfully you simply have to get used to the timing of evolutions and know when to cut your losses.

The best place to farm Vermivorous is in the tunnel for the mission to push the Dahl Minecart along. On the left of the tunnel, there is a door, and in that room, the varkid cannot hit you, but remain aggro'd so long as the door is OPEN.

I'm right there with you. I got my Bee yesterday, soloed Terra around 40 times, drops have been complete shit, I have gotten one upgrade off of him. Cant wait for the first DLC.

not guaranteed or anything, obviously, but if you haven't done doctor's orders sidequest yet, there's 4 cardboard boxes in the room in wildlife preserve by the holding pens, and during that quest they have a very high chance to have midgets in them, so apparently it's a good place to farm for him. I found him running from thousand cuts up to the bunker a few times and opening all the things

Specifically, we'll be posting codes on 10/5 at 6PM and 11PM CT and on 10/6 at 5AM, 11AM and 3PM CT.

Gonna try this method now, hopefully I have much better luck with it. Kinda wish I had Creature Slaughter Dome thing to make the run easier and quicker, especially since I have to start from very beginning each time, that run can be a bitch on 2.5.

1. Go to Opportunity (one of many locations)
2. Stay on far left and look for helmet signs.
3. Only open boxes that contain ammo as he appears in those
4. If he's not in the two boxes, press start, save and quit, then continue and look again. If u get tired of the just those two boxes I included a second box run
4. Follow video for better assurance and extra box run in case you get tierd of the 2 boxes.

Upshot Robot is the winna! The tech makes it so any kill I get while DT is out will increase his duration time and buff our melee damage.
So basically, I can keep DT on the field forever if I can keep wrecking fools! AND my kills make DT and I more powerful the longer he's out!

Boo, I was hoping DeathTrap would last forever until it died then it would invoke a 1 minute cooldown to resummon.

Right now the people complaining about the Bee are the people who dont have it. I agree with the OP of that thread... This is not a MMO/Competitive game. Dont know why people are making it out to be like it is.

That's what I was doing for a good 11-12 hours with no luck, lol. I tried Wildlife method for about 45min before I took a nap and I like that method much better, at least loot things are guaranteed, but I understand it's still rare spawn doing Wildlife method. Gonna start trying it again now, see how it goes, hope I get lucky.

Fucking finally, even doing the long run method in Wildlife, shit only took me hour and 15 min compared to 11-12 hours I spent trying in Opportunity.

I have a 21 siren, I'll be home in 3.5 hours, I have a million quests open except the feud line of quests

oh and separate-ish question: can people co-op timed quests? (and I do 2 targets and they do 2) gat-dayam those are annoying, like the mailboxes car driving one for zed's supplies
