Dance music with no bass. It has a beat, and I guess people dance to it, but it's not my thing. Some people spend entirely too much energy defending it or attacking it. It's mediocre, as is most club music.

you must have woken up on the wrong side of the bed, I love dubstep, I dont mind that almost every trailer out there uses it, however I do take offense that they use it pretty poorly. this trailer does not use it poorly and has a little fun with the fact that everyone else is using it.
dubstep mixes in wonderfully with FPS games, you can use beats as bullets, creates a stronger image for the game and its weaponry

Maybe I'm out of touch but this was the first trailer I've seen with dubstep. If it's the case that it's overused I still don't think it was used in jest but rather because it's effective for building a connection with their target demographic. We agree I guess but I originally thought you were trying to discount the use of dubstep in the trailer.

Long assed article regarding Maya the Siren and her ability:

Long story short, Maya's initial class specific ability (Phaselocking) can lock an enemy in place, which is nice for crowd control. However, as you level up you can manipulate it a bit more, such as killing the phaselocked enemy to regain health, revive players, increase fire rate, etc.
