Interesting. Anyone have opinions on Soul Eater? Never really looked into it, but seeing it on there and reading it was done by Bones has got me on the fence..

The 'catch' of the sale, if you're looking for one, is that most of the anime on blu-ray is upscaled from the SD master, rather than from an HD source (most anime wasn't mastered in HD until recently). So buying it in blu-ray will deliver mixed results, depending on the upscaling algorithm involved and how good a job they did encoding it. If you see a set marked as 'Remaster' it usually means the first run had problems, so watch out for that.
The Soul Eater anime has some very well animated fights (i.e. no blinking around DBZ style) but the nature of the artwork leads to some funny looking in-betweens. Music's pretty solid as well.

I actually liked the ending of the anime more than what the manga had become (I stopped reading a while ago though, I guess it could have got better).

Pretty awesome anime, but everyone hates the ending. I think it's also on netflix if you have that and wanted to check it out.

Just wanted to say thank you for posting this! Picked up Claymore on blu-ray (basically no cost diff between DVD and it) and Ouran High School Host Club for the wife on blu-ray. :D Haven't seen Claymore yet so that should be fun.

So Ouran Host Club got cancelled after about a week having the order placed, and claymore has been been delayed another month, and will probably get cancelled too -_- Just got the "yo shits delayed" email today. Would really like to strangle them atm. Anyone else have problems getting their shit?
Edit: Of course I get a shipping notification today. Bitching ftw
