The majority, if not all, of the people following the movies while not the original material probably don't know that and don't know the impact that act caused in the comic book universe at the time.

It's a very important scene, and one I hope they do well in portraying in the movie the actuality of the scene. Gonna be sad to see Emma go

Way better idea than casting Kirsten Dunst a blonde, then forcibly smashing a Square Peg through a Round Hole (an actual redhead as Gwen Stacy in Spiderman 3). Goddamn what the fuck was Raimi even fucking thinking at that point, "Let me throw in all the characters I managed to neglect in Spiderman 1 and 2 and have it make sense in the final film."

Btw, he's going to take a huge steaming dump on Poltergeist coming out next year.

I still haven't really wrapped my head around what happened to Uncle Ben or how Peter got his powers (something about being bitten... I dunno). So a third reboot showing those events for a third time in detail would really help
