Venom story line better not get rushed.
since it's gonna be in it's own damn movie I would hope it's not rushed. my movie timeline is a bit confused, but i think its ASM3->S6->ASM4->Venom, so they could introduce the symbiote in 4, and have it contained by the govt or whatever, if they intend to use the Flash Thompson as Venom storyline.
I would assume the contract gives complete control over the movie use, and Spider-Man didn't join the Avengers until after the original Toby movie so there's probably not some backdoor in the contract.
I think the Wanda and Pietro loophole is the wording is such the X-Men contracts gave exclusive IP rights over mutants but non-exclusive rights over mutants that weren't just in the X-Men.
I don't think there will be the same loophole for Spider-man.
So we don't know who all the Sinister 6 are going to be yet, right?
Just Rhino, Green Goblin, Dr Octopus, Vulture? I had assumed Electro...Spoiler: show
I can only assume the director/producer/script writers don't even know who the other two are yet because the way they treated this movie as a Sinister 6 prequel I think they would have shown everything.
You would think Sony could sort out some kind of deal with Marvel where they let Spidey appear in an Avengers movie, just on the condition that they use Garfield to portray him. It would please the fans and benefit both studios.
That's not how big corporations work or think though. They don't only want to make as much money as they possibly can, they also want their competitors to make as little as possible.
Like little kids, they won't share their toys. Even if little Sony has a bunch of Mortal Kombat figures and little Marvel has a bunch of G.I. Joes, they won't share, despite how super fucking awesome a battle between G.I Joes and super powered ninja would be!
Spider-Man joined the Avengers in the nineties, but turned appeared and turned them down in the sixties. Avi Arad has stated Spider-Man in the Avengers would be a stunt and he has no interest in doing it.
I'm sure Spider-Man and even Wolverine could be legally pulled into the multi universe camp like Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, and the Kree, but it doesn't serve Marvels plans. Spider-Man would have to be featured in Avengers for it to happen according to Ari, but they have to cut characters as it is. They aren't opposed to cameo crossovers though, as shown with the stark tower bit that they ran out of time on.
He wasn't really a full on Avenger until the New Avengers series by Bendis. Since that point he's been pretty much a mainstay, but prior to that his time in the rosters was few and far between.

Anyway, with regards to the Sinister Six, if you Shazam the credits song you get six images that tease who they are. As seen at the end of this article. I don't know enough about the comics to guess at who the other four are but maybe one of you guys does.
First four pics are green goblin/doc oc/rhino/vulture, last 2 I don't know. A little bit of a Kraven-y feeling off the the pic with the face. the last pic though- with the help of known sinister six members, could be Chameleon, Shocker, or maybe even Mysterio if they decide to ditch the fishbowl head (which I hope they would)
The smoke coming out of the eye makes me think Shocker though.
ohAccording to The Wrap, the Sinister Six have not been decided on, as the script has yet to be finalized. Apparently, the six teaser images from the credits are "merely possibilities" of what that lineup could be. One insider added that production on The Sinister Six could start as early as January 2015.

lmao
He "joined" (i.e guest starred) in the early 90s and was considered a reserve member, but wasn't considered a full time member until 2005 when New Avengers launched.
