Or you could just have variables that changes from normal idle (DT-/Regen) to Evasion gear as needed and then you have the best of both worlds.

K seriously broski, take a step the fuck back and realize youre trying to pick an e-fight with me over my choice to use an evasion set over pdt set for idling on thief, when you yourself made a very hypocritical statement how you choose to be gimp and idle in your TP set.

Btw ANY physical tp move can be evaded, including spike flail on my taru 90whm...and if im getting hit with magic/spells/tp moves/wtv not engaged, theres probably a reason im in range for them to begin with and can gear up accordingly manually, cause that situation happens very very rarely.

There's this taru on Rag that has constantly bazaared weird/old shit as far back as I can remember... maybe 4 years? Crayfish, peapods, and other worthless junk that people normally would just toss. I sometimes see him on jobs like BST as well, with the bazaar still up, so it amazes and shocks me how he can play while always limiting his inventory like that.

Nyzul mobs can spawn with a variable HP that goes all the way down to 1. It's really weird. I've killed a wamoura with Dia there before.

I don't see how I'm contradicting myself really. I said ideal idle sets should be PDT/MDT. I said I don't use them. That seems contradictory sure, however read "Should" and "I do". I stated I should, but I don't because I'm lazy/gimp. Doesn't change the fact you should.

I'm arguing pdt/mdt is better than Eva on thief. I'm not arguing how important either is over none at all. If I'm pulling I'll be in pulling set, if I'm super tanking, I'll be in full eva set. I don't see the point in an evasion based idle set. Then again, (and now you can pick me apart for cotnradicting myself - I've changed my mind.) I don't see the point in either really in an idle set for thief. As mentioned, if you know you're gonna be in AoE range, then you chuck up the relevant pdt/mdt/eva set, and are no longer in idle set. It's not like a mage's idle set balancing PDT/MDT and refresh.

My dyna LS absolutely loved PLDs back then. Think we topped out at 4 PLDs for a windy run because "yags are evil" haha. Then a year or 2 so after we started (maybe 2007-2008 ) we jumped back down to 1-2 PLD top (1 being myself). Can't remember the dates exactly because my old harddrive fried and I lost all my screenshots from 2005-2009. -.-

Was absolutely sad to see how dyna PLDs managed themselves back then when I look back now. I saw 1 of them fulltiming amemet mantle for xarc, or an earth staff because "shield is overrated" and so on. I don't miss the dark ages at all, despite all the nostalgia.

Also, ohat was like a badge of honor for that social >_> everyone had one.
