This, our group has one (soon 2, working on my own) main dancers going in w/o sub, a thief with dancer sub and one who usually goes warrior locking subjob with a couple dual boxed mages just in case and with all that JA business, once in a while they just won't go.
If it takes longer than ~1 minute, we'll just kill and move on.

I've always just spammed Animated Flourish due to the fact that it can't miss the mob and end up being a waste of time. Would using Wild Flourish or Violent Flourish be better because of the quicker re-use time?

Wild flourish can be used in addition to violent/animated, but at 95% acc it's generally better to use violent over animated unless the monster is too low hp.

He used presto at the start, so he was on dnc main. The only time I really use animated is for Thf's that end up PD'ing.

I just started using Wild today, I completely forgot about it as being a proc JA instead I used it as a "kill mob faster once I proced it". So the fail is also on me for not using it :D

Okay, time to bring back an old friend of mine by the name of Rareitems, aka Taliaz. They so kindly asked me in a hate tell to post on BG, so I thought I'd oblige. Sadly, I screenshotted very little of the conversation because I was busy helping my friend get people for his EXP leech party to fund his aegis's last step, so really all I have is something my friend pointed out on FFXIAH's shout monitors. I regret not doing more now.

Anyway, story time! Taliaz, if you guys remember from this post here, still has a little grudge against me. And if you also check the screenshots in this album, you can get an idea of why they hate on my friend Savain too. It's really funny, honestly. Anyway, so this all started yesterday. I got one screenie of it at the very beginning! Though I should have gotten the rest.

After this, they exploded into insulting me and Savain, which was just amusing, especially when they started calling us RMTs for making leech parties to fund Sav's Aegis. After the entirety of PJ turned against them, they went off at any shout they saw, insulting them regardless of the shout. There was a Carabosse shout that they exploded at for being at 4/5 (though I agree that it was silly to put two people on a single +2 drop) and going off about how terrible everyone is. There were several more people they just attacked at random.

So today after class Sav's doing another EXP run, and I figure I might as well get my SCH up and join in. Rare starts up as I begin shouting for Sav while he's building lights, and starts calling us RMT, calling our shell a HongKong one, etc. It was actually really amusing, because for whatever reason they've got a stick up their ass that's longer than my arm. I GM'd them for like the third time in two days (a little fail on my part for the GMing maybe), got the same nice GM I've had the last two times, and go off to do the EXP. Five minutes in, I get a tell.

So I have a LSmate who is leveling RNG, and wants a Loki's Kaftan. Been trying to help him out on MNK during !! time.

And holy shit, it's been an ordeal.

1: Proc'd !! no less than 10 times, and haven't had it drop once.

2: Finding him. He just fucking hides, then shows up in the most in view spot right after !! time ends.

3: The fight itself... He's not a hard NM by any stretch, and his spells are a joke at this point w/ MDT, Shell V and Cureskin... but he's such a fucking bitch. Got it to ~10% in under 5 minutes, then spend the next 5 minutes Stunned 90% of the time due to him repeatedly casting Stun, Enstun and Shock Spikes. Then he'd use the hate reset TP move, chase after the WHM and put up that wind shield to knock me all over the zone.

It's gotten to the point, the instant I enter the zone, I immediately get this video stuck in my head.



Have I finally gone completely fucking mad? My only reassurance from this, is the WHM actually said exactly what I was thinking - something along the lines of "this reminds me of the Trolling Saruman video"...
