After killing Isgebind I noticed a group of NIN SAM WHM next to us wiping to it and thought it could be a fun watch, saw their WHM use a brew and spam Earth Crusher until the brew wore off, at which point he died and Isgebind completely deaggro'd. The NIN figured I owed him a pop, forgot to screenshot his /say ranting, but from my logger file:
[01:16:44]Nelyus : omg
[01:16:54]Nelyus invites you to form an alliance with his party.
[01:17:51]Nelyus : dont steal our pop we dont have red procs
[01:19:59]Nelyus : you guys are amongst the worst players I ever crossed in FF

You are amongst the worst and should be ashamed of yourself.
How do you sleep at night?
I don't get why people QQ so hard, especially on something with such an easy pop to get. A couple of times I died while duo'ing Isge(stupid para fucked me), and there was always a group there to grab it. I wished them good luck, and went and farmed another pop in <5min.
I find it most common that the people crying in say about losing a mob are either duo or trio, and if they're trio, the third wheel doesn't seem to have the jobs for missing proc, and so they feel entitled that their hard work to get the KI from mobs or boxes should be given back to them, but in the real world, we all just laugh at them.

Long story short, LS member comments on someone having pokemon stats in their bazaar. Me being bored during trials sends them a tell. Goes from there. Not sure if dedicated counter troll or just clueless individual...

He was shouting for awhile while I was in another zone apparently... LS member snagged this.

That is fucking amazing. At first I was bored, ugh stupid stuff.
Well fucking worth the read.
First one was during a Voidwatch shout group. We didn't have a BLM so we asked the taru MNK to switch to BLM quickly. While he was running back some of us on vent were saying "the guy changed so fast he is still weakened" then this happened:

The next one is a DRK who was camping the NM with me for our GS trial. See below.

So I then decided to check his TP set up, after checking it he swapped to his WS set up.
TP:

Had a hard time deciding on whether this was random fail or gimp/cuntfused.
I don't know how to put this but... I'm kind of a big deal.

I killed 200 sobek's in a year.
I'm not sure if it's worse that people still think Sattva is useful or that Rajas is one of the few pieces of gear that has remained useful.
I've never understood what people were thinking with sattva and tamas, I guess Sattva at one point had somewhat impressive stats for a tank at the time, but even when it came out there was better to shoot for, if I recall.
Tamas has always baffled me, it's like an economy piece for mages (though I do suppose gil was a bit harder to come by at the time, and stat+5 rings werent nearly as cheap.)
I recently changed to Rajas, but back in the day when I completed CoP I only had mage jobs leveled.
Tamas was the only logical choice for me back then.
Back then is 2005, though.
It was also nice for MP, -enmity, and inventory (cap was 60 for a while, plus no satchel/sack, so it was a bigger deal).
The tendency for people to have far fewer jobs than now also played into it I think. Not as many "career" anythings now, since XPing/meriting, and decently gearing jobs is so much easier in general.
There are two ring rewards from CoP.
1) Rajas
2) A ring that should have been Rajas.
I've always picked up gear that I knew I would someday use. but I'm also a hoarder, I only just threw out my hornet's needle that I've had since foreverago. my ninja's gear is pretty much always at capacity for some reason, and yet somehow I made this work when inventory slots were what... 30? 40? i forget what you start out with. it's been forever ago. as my inventory went up, so did the gear I'd bring to events and parties. so it like. evened out. now im always running on 6-8 inventory slots to hold things, not enough to hold all my cross-dimensional petrified logs.
oh god, and before ninja toolbags, bringing several stacks of shihei to a fight. how did we make it work
