Semi Fail:

I bandwagoned my DNC a long long time ago in Abyssea and finally finished up some critical gear for it -- Just because I wanted to do this solo dyna for money shit I hear about from all the other DNC/BST.

Pretty happy that my first try netted me around 80 coins and 6 Forgotten steps. (Did Bubu) -- But the real fail here is wasting close to 30 minutes not knowing where or what fucking mob was the 20 minute timer. BG wiki's "VARIOUS" didn't exactly help me to understand what the fuck I was looking for to kill.

Edit: I went DNC/THF for some TH2, but I hear all the pros go locked SJ for possible white proc. Not like I really USED thf sub so I may try it.

If you're going solo on dnc then thf is the better sub.
It'll usually yield more coins then taking a random chance at a white proc, and by random I mean random.

On average I saw maybe one one white proc per week on a run where we had a group of 2/3 people going without subjobs.
To be fair I'm only talking about experience from running ~4 weeks, it's not that much.

I've been doing Dyna almost every day since coming back(Valk) and I've not seen a single white proc. We go THF/NIN and RDM/000. It feels kinda lame, sometimes, the amount of casts to get even a single proc. Makes me wish I still had access to my 2box'd WHM.

Well, to be fair, as I understand it -- Magic takes longer to proc as the % rate is lower. I proc'ed about 90-95% of my mobs (with all TE's) doing JA's or WS mobs. And that white is 1%. DNC doesn't need a SJ so going with support locked is a "yay white" if it happens.
