The idiots round here that tried to copy it didn't bother with looting phones or tellys - they just tried to break into JJB Sports (chav sports clothes shop for those who don't speak Brit) and failed with that collossally by all accounts so they set some tyres on fire.

Caught briefly mentioned in the news last night that the cops in mainland UK don't have even any water cannons for dispersing the crowds. Plenty of them in Northern Ireland (and tear gas and all sorts of other options to use) but none over this side of the Irish sea.

Last night's rioting wasn't really rioting anymore, it was just thievery. From what I've gathered from the news and friends is that the shops targeted here in Birmingham were sports goods like Adidas and JJB (chav clothing), small consumer electronics (mobile phone shops mostly) and clothes shops (Armani, Primark). It was just opportunistic youth criminals and the ones who didn't get in on the looting action (cops closed all public transport and roads to city center pretty quick here) went around all bored torching few cars and trees in a park (wut?). I'm mostly saddened by the burning of the landmarks like the carpet store in Tottenham and Reeve's furniture shop in Croydon. My husband used to live there and Croydon's mostly ugly steel and concrete rebuilt after the blitz; that furniture shop was one of the few old wooden buildings there and it had been ran by the same family for five generations. They were interviewing the owners in the news last night and I nearly started bawling myself listening to them describing their life's work going up in smoke for no reason or cause whatsoever. Same for all the people who happened to live in flats over the torched shops and have now lost their homes.

It won't get as bad here though cause where I live theres a huge BNP crew that are also football hooligans(lol I know) so I am sure they aren't going to let it get too bad. Not to mention theres fuck all here to be looted really ahaha. Fucking Pikeys!

They keep saying there will be 16000 police tonight in London, I can't help but feel that now the rioters are 1 step ahead because what if they gather even more people to topple that? Also, a number of those are from outer cities, this kinda gives it a green light for the other cities to go on rampage

Yeah thats exactly what is happening, it's turnt into people joining just for the sake of it, I mean I live hours way from London this does not affect my area one tiny little fucking bit, yet there is people organising a riot here and you know whats even funnier? In the proposal it said "lets save england, people are taking our jobs, keep the immigrants away from our country" which absolutely has FUCK ALL to do with why this riot is happening in the first place.

That is just example of what people are fucking like, line all of the people up that are starting these riots. Send the soldiers home and let them fight our wars, they seem to have it in their small tiny brains that they are capable of doing it through violence and think they are big hard cunts. I gurantee they would want the first plane back. Actually makes me ashamed to be british when there is fuckwads like these people breathing the same oxygen as me.

Apparently there have been children as young as 11 years old participating in the riots with electronic stores and cell phone stores taking most the damage because of small easy to disappear with items. Man that shit is silly dude. I heard they even burned down a sony distribution centre too after attempting to loot it. I'm telling you, fucking animals.
