Those "shields" are a fucking waste of taxpayer money if you ask me.
Wow those riot shields suck ass.
Well at least is not the kind of shield that would work in Mexico, maybe it works in UK because cops cant even use their guns.
Someone snapped a pic of the post office robbery in Liverpool.

Holy fuck
tv crew gives a lift to a cop pursuing riot suspects to make the arrest.
think about it from the police's perspective.
you've got 2 groups of people fighting eachother in the street and a clusterfuck of violence and idiots trying to throw backward umbrellas. it gives them twice as much work to do than they would normally have to because of it, had the other side just stay in their houses and protect their belongings and family instead of trying to be a hero. its not like counter strike, where you know which ones to shoot at lol. these guys are all dressed up as thugs, some shirtless, some with hoods and they're all acting like idiots
Been kicking off here (thankfully not our bit of town) for the last few hours - police station petrol bombed, one of the 6th form college buildings alight, people trying to rip a bit of shit up in the city centre. Quite why the police decided to let the local football derby go ahead this evening is beyond me.
