Someone should make a youtube video of "Awkward African American Moments" where 2 people are conversing and one calls the other African American instead of black and the awkwardness that follows. I've never been able to mutter the words out loud myself, it's almost as bad as nigger for some reason to me, like so overly PC you aren't even being PC any more. If a black dude called me caucasian I would laugh my ass off.
I wonder what a black british guy's reaction would be if some american called him african american.
My wondering is based on the fact I have never met a black british guy and have no fucking idea whether they are "ghetto" or not.
would he laugh and say "stupid american"
Or would he put a gun to your head and say "WTF YOU CALL ME?!"

Do they say that there or is that only austria

Also lol @ Peterborough going up - apparently it's fine in Stevenage and Hitchin so far, so you're probably ok
The shops up the road were all boarding up and even Starbucks was closed which was pretty impressive. Go go the Polish supermarket and Korean supermarket though - they're not fucking pussies like Sainsburys!
Local costcutters was boarding up with plastic but still open, Korean supermarket next door the same:

To too.
I haven't been keeping up, are black people just finally fed up with harry potter or what
I just found out I may have to learn how to twitter.
Worst. Day. Ever.
Hubby not giving it up huh? There are prob some instructional videos out there. Don't rub it too long or you'll go blind.
lol naw. trying to test out of a class (technology for teachers), but basically you go through the syllabus on your own and when you take the test they pick something random for you to show your proficiency in.
And one of them is iGoogle and they have you link your twitter account to it.
Iono what kind of nut world these people live in, but a twitter account is the last thing a teacher needs.
considering they want you to have a twitter to link to iGoogle, I dunno if they're going to see if we know how to tweet while we're at it.
Twitter's role is to help you tune in to individuals who are sharing useful information. It allows almost instant access to their tweets. The key is to find the right people to pay attention to. Keep a special eye out for useful links that you could store in Delicious or ideas to put away into Evernote.
