The only story of this series I liked was the novella, "The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner." No love triangle crap, just vampires being vampires (even if they are sparkly vampires >.>).

I guess some of the actors in these movies are attractive, but the scripts/acting are terrible. Maybe I'll download this sometime if I want a laugh, but no way I'm spending money on it.

True Blood does Vampire vs. Werewolf (wereFox, werePanther, wereBat) better, and doesn't take itself so seriously ^^;

True Blood was good for first season where it was more of a thriller and there was some suspense. Now it' just like Twilight all about shirtless dudes and sad self loathing vampires.

Examining the movie from a movie standpoint and not being an overly critical douchebag, they did miss one attention to detail. Edward wasn't sparkly-warkly during the daytime when they were in South America.
