This is the only thing on your list I fucking hate. If anyone has spent 5 minutes with me on vent they'll know I like to talk. You also can't ever give her any kind of advice about anything because she always already has "people" for that. And she looks down on people. I just kinda avoided conversations with her, but she started to get worse (not with just me). From day one after they got married she would argue with her husband whenever he wanted to hang out with our group. Because we aren't "high class". She pushed and pushed and now my husband hasn't even really gotten to see him ever since our wedding (even though the guy was the best man). I think he gave up and didn't want to deal with fighting about it anymore.

Drug use

Wanted to point out, that I've never been bothered by this but I could be, if that makes any sense. I've ever rarely had any convo with friends about drugs (we're all too nerdy for that stuff). And if we did it's usually just someone smoked a little pot in HS type thing.

I think though if someone had some serious drug problems I'd feel awkward as it'd be a situation I've never had to handle before.

If one of your friends develops drug "problems" you should be happy for them because they're experiencing infinitely more happiness than you'll ever know.

Drinking makes you stupid and slow and disoriented and nauseous. When I was high on ecstasy I was completely clear headed. I loved that aspect, that I could be entirely in control and act normal while it felt like my whole body was orgasming for 24 hours straight.

I hate religion and threads about international politics, not because i hate the subject, but because i always find the quality of those types of discussions lacking. I also hate partisan politics threads here because they're always about lol republicans and then some conservative showing up and the other posters bashing him. Nothing knew to see there.
