After Texas thats only 8 times you realize.
After Texas thats only 8 times you realize.
If you're looking for more opportunity just cut down the geographic lines to city lines then...I thought 8 times in 20 hours would be enough unless you've got some techno-lubricated dick than can withstand that much action in such a short period of time.
Edit: I assume you're male...
Hey at least you are taking I-40 across NM, just a straight shot. But expect it to be boring as fuck from Amarillo until you hit Albuquerque lol.
I 2nd the idea of a good book, or some podcasts of something you are into, maybe throw in a few TED Talks for something different.
A couple of years ago me and my cousin took a Penske cab-over from ABQ to Austin, fucking thing woulnt do over 70, we just talked bullshit on the way there, but finished Song of Susannah audiobook on the way back.
Seconding Hollywood Babble-On as it's outstanding and always delivers. I don't think I could take 20 hours straight of it because Kevin Smith can do the same old jokes, but Ralph is the highlight and key of the show.
Other podcasts:
Nerdist - Comedy mixed with interviews bent on more nerd culture.
The Mike O'meara Show - Guys from the old Don & Mike show doing standard "guy talk radio."
Big O & Dukes - Were on radio station WJFK with Mike O'Meara. Oriented more toward the 24-35 male demo.
The Skeptics Guide to the Universe - If you're into science.
you'd make it through at least one entire book in the Potter series, go for it
as for podcasts, off the top of my head, thrilling adventure hour, the pod f. tompkast and doug loves movies are all generally hilarious and awesome. julie klausner's how was your week and judge john hodgman are less safe, but still generally pretty good.
I'm a big fan of the Slate Daily Podcasts. There's one on sports, one on popular culture, one on politics, and then a bunch of other smaller ones that are still pretty entertaining. I just listen to them all so that no single one ever gets too boring.
Radiolab is a pretty amazing podcast and an excellent way to waste in hour. I would highly recommend it.
Star Talk Radio ftw

If you don't know what it is, it's Neil deGrasse Tyson's radio show. He's an astrophysicist. Basically each week he has a main guest he interviews, usually recorded separately, and then fills up the rest of the time by having him and a comedian talk about the subject.
It's really entertaining stuff generally, and you can download every show in mp3 format. Shit is so cash.
Highly recommend the John Steward episode, and the Colbert one.

I was actually really disappointed with the Morgan Freeman one, they basically just spent an hour talking to Morgan Freeman about how awesome Morgan Freeman is.
I can PM you my number if you want; we can chat for a bit. I'm always down to get to know someone new.
Sad that no one mentioned proof of citizenship since he is traveling to Arizona. Also Comedy routines. I have both of Dennis Leary's HBO specials on MP3, as well as bunch of George Carlin if I ever need a break from music.
Where can I find some of those MP3s of Leary's stuff I've got a 7 hour drive ahead of me![]()
i'll check tonight when i get home after work and see how long it will take me to upload it and i'll pm you the link.
