Friend Can't Talk In Skype Conference Calls

His mic cuts out every other word so it's impossible to understand anything he's saying. But he doesn't have any issues in one on one calls. Any clue what the problem could be?

Friend of mine had the same problem- I think he said switching to an Ethernet cable vs. a wireless connection helped loads.

If he tries to record his voice locally to a program, does his voice cut also?

If yes then Skype and net doesn't have anything to do with it

I don't know about that, but like I said it works fine when we're in one on one calls. Do you think I should ask him to try recording himself?

What mic does he have? Skype, for me, is mega gay with my mic and gives me a lot of random shit.
