Has there been a stable update to the Touchpad? I realize they'll probably be sold out by the time I get an answer, but it seems like they haven't actually gotten to where they planned to since the fire sale.

Webos is open source now so it won't be just HP releasing updates anymore. Android is flashable (and dual bootable) on the touchpad. There is a CM7 Alpha3 release that runs pretty damn well. They stopped working on CM7 and have moved on to CM9 (Ice cream sandwich) so expect a port of that for the touchpad in the next couple months.
