ED? Not laggy at all; the primary skill has probably the least impressive animation in the game, just a purple wisp that floats towards enemies. Even on large chain reactions, FPS generally seems great compared to LA / Discharge / etc.

ok cool
Started playin again, I do miss this game. My IGN is Devhont. Gunna be a slow lvling process. I wonder if I should not do Essence drain as my first char on the new ladder. Might take too long without lvling uniques.
It goes pretty quickly once you get back into it and I was able to hit Merc Dried Lake on an ED character pretty quickly with zero leveling uniques. You can also buy good leveling uniques for cheap on poetrade (outside of Tabula Rasa). If you're playing softcore, I'd just race through periodically stopping to upgrade weapons and key pieces of gear every few acts. Once you get to Merc Dried Lake, you can farm XP to get ready for mapping in a few hours.
Up to 78 on an Earthquake build, probably easiest build I've leveled to map tier. If I do a second build, I think I'll try the blade vortex flavor of the month build.
This is my first season playing this game, i'm building a Flameblast totem witch and it's pretty fun so far, so far the game is enjoyable but I have minor gripes, like when trying to do a melee build in multiplayer and I keep targeting my friend instead of the mobs, is there a way to turn that off? I see no purpose in being able to target other players outside of towns D:
Chris Wilson confirmed that the 3.0 patch next year with Act 5 will also have a reduction from 3 difficulties down to 2. Praise be
can't wait

Announcing 3.0 for June/July.
Or August 4th
I'm amped; I still play the shit out of PoE during every new league. Took a couple chars to the 80-90 range this past league (Breach).
Poor Blizzard must feel ridiculous. Even the necromancer can't revive Diablo 3.
Oh man, I wish they'd stop making me want to play. I really loved this game, but I've been out of touch, so I am clueless, and it was always tough to get good items. Also, the major issue I had was lag. I would die in high level maps because I would stutter and bam, you die real quick in this game.
They added six fucking acts; this is nuts. The legacy league starting March 3 is also awesome; can have three previous league mods active at once. I would just jump back in for the next temp league on 3/3 if you need a refresher; it comes back pretty quickly.
POE has been at the top of r/all almost all day today which is pretty shocking.
The new acts and the idea of not having to play through 3 times sounds great. I've been getting the itch to play Poe for awhile now but I always find myself getting burned out after a month or two in a league, I just can't seem to play this game casually so I might skip 2.6 and wait for 3.0. But man does 3.0 look great. Now for new viable skills.
PoE is awesome, i Can no wait for Fall of Oriath, maybe someone share any news or details from new patch?
maybe not
weird shill bot
August 4th for the expansion. I could not be more hyped.
Same; huge fan of the game. Between Destiny 2 and this, will be adding a little more nerd time to my schedule.
Fuck me. Been waiting for a reason to take a decent vacation from work and was going to use this as an excuse and go all in for at least 3-4 days at the start of the league, but I need more than 3 weeks to give notice for vacation =/
