Blight, Harbinger, Strongboxes, Essences, the center Kirac circle will be my initial spec. Someone made a good observation about grabbing Shaping the Mountains and Shaping the Skies for growing a map pool.
Probably after a bit I will respec out of Blight and reallocate into Delirium.
Ugh I'm afraid to look at it. I'm still theorycrafting a build but ill probably just do PC pathfinder to get to maps and farm up some shit on SSF. Atlas tree will likely cater to SSF crafting stuff - I don't care about making currency obviously.
I practiced some early leveling last night for poison concoction. My god it was so smooth. And the claw mastery that gives HP and mana on hit just sustains infinitely early game. I guess I know what I'm rolling.
Queue is also up. Working from home today, got the queue on my 2nd monitor - probably play a couple hours during lunch, but have a pretty long meeting this afternoon. Ugh I really wanted to do a half day today.
League mechanic sucks, once you're in maps, but the new atlas is a great leap forward. Need to cut the amount of currency by half and only have one upgrade path per, then go back down to maybe two a map. In a game that wants you to pick stuff up, there's far too little inventory and far too many base drops for the amount of recipes in the league. LMAO at only 24 inventory slots before being changed to 64 at the last minute....
Playing SSF. Got a Doctor last week from somewhere that I don't even remember. Guessing either from a Stacked Deck or another div card turn in.
And now resisting migrating because I like the challenge and 14ex to buy all the shit I need for any build would kill my interest in playing even faster.
I've got some great SSF gear in Standard over the last couple of leagues, but I also prefer the raw league challenges. I'm kind of plateauing with my PC Pathfinder, but I don't have much build enabling items right now. Might go seismic trap or ice trap reroll since I'm closer to getting that geared.
Basically I just need a good bosser now haha. My map clear is insane, and Delve is ez pz. Problem is I can't sustain xp on tier 15+ since I can't kill fast enough and I keep dying to ground effects that drain me faster than I can notice losing HP.
FOTM Ballista EA Champion. Tanky and can easily boss. Ziz only ripped on his because he was reading chat and kaboomed to Breach Revenant corpses explosions.
I'm playing Arc Elementalist. Got lucky with a 5L early in leveling and finally got a 6L but colors are wrong (Need 5B-1R but it's 4B-2R). Also need to farm for primordial cards which is taking forever. I can do easy mods T15/16s but going for atlas completion is kicking my ass.
If any of ya'll have never played, the league starting on Friday is going to be the best start you're going to get until 2.0 comes out. No nerfs to any builds so you can check build guides and be confident in what your build is going to be like. Also the update to end game last league made the game the best it's ever felt for mapping.
and Zizaran is putting out a set of videos explaining everything.
It's quite nice knowing I can rely on a 3.17 build. I've been practicing in Hardcore for fun this past week. Trying out Explosive Arrow champ to attempt to break my level 95 wall I hit every league.
But the end game now is phenomenal, and the new keystone passives they added to the atlas tree are great for zeroing in your favored content (blight, heist, legion, etc). I'm a big sucker for blight, and since I only do SSF I'm kinda stuck always picking harvest for crafting. Will definitely do essences in early maps and strongboxes.
Going to be a bunch of Omniscience enjoyers again. Actually surprised they didn't nerf it at all even if they didn't plan on doing big balance changes this time.
There are now 10 atlas passives that each shut off a mechanic while adding a 2% bonus chance at all other mechanics spawning. Located near the bottom of the tree next to Shaping the Mountains/Skies.
Too bad there's no keystone that deletes archnemisis mods. I had a rather strong urge to try the league but after reading this cluster fuck, I am staying the hell away from this.
Yeah, the reddit is up in flames about it lol I'm not in maps yet but uhh we'll see how fun it is. I'm watching/copying kripps absolution build and he's tanky as FUCK and he's still getting assblasted from rare mobs
Doing Pohx's RF build. In Yellow tier maps and have 37 deaths. The 2 nerfs to the archnemesis were def noticeable. Doesn't feel bad now, not sure how red maps are though.
In white maps as Champ Explodey Arrow. Tanky AF with absolute shite gear. Clear is slow but mostly due to 4-link gear and low level. Archnemesis mods are interesting and make me really decide if killing something is worth it or just run along to the next pack. Really wish the rewards reflected the mods, though. Biggest issue with it right now.
This implementation is 100% the way GGG wants to slow down players.
