Really at this point, yes it sucks to over pay one month, but as soon as they allow selective increments you can finish off your excess by only buying what you need to finish the month. Now that they've addressed within a month to three we're going to see choice increments and automated payment, I may go ahead and swap anyway.

I figured if they ever got around to changing the system, it would be when they had about 2,000 subs left. The idea of S-E actually listening to what people tell them is a strange, heady, and completely unfamiliar sensation.

I wouldn't mind if they did this more often.

If you as me, they're about a year late on doing this since people complained about it also when FFXIV came out, and then whoops, "F2P for all until it's fixed folks! We'll just completely ignore this money payment thing until later..."


It only just took them with a project that actually *is* turning them a profit to have to bloody take action.

Dunno how many people did like me: transfer but with 0 crysta because your payment options suck, don't mind the transfer just your shitty payment options.

Not sure if I will wait out for some of the new options to take effect or just buy Crysta and then get Crysta to zero with the "x amount Crysta" fix and after that go back to some automated payment option.

I finally managed to pay for my Crysta... all I had to do was to log in to my parent's computer in the US using a VNC program and do my payment from there >.> Not exactly the kind of option that most people have. They even did the payment in Won and directly to the credit card...




No idea what that new "Dao Pay" option is, but what a scam! $200 for $100 worth of Crysta... I did pay a tiny bit extra to do a direct payment through Playspan rather than using Paypal, but I figured it had a better chance of going through after all the problems I had, and I was right.

Official forums thread I made about this is really pissing me off... people keep complaining about the old options, not the new ones, and I had a post deleted that simply said Crysta wasn't allowed to be sold in Australia... The guy I responded to who said his bank said Crysta was shady had his post left alone, and someone responded to my deleted post and the quote was still there too...

My first modified/deleted post, and it wasn't even flaming anyone, merely stating the a fact relevant to the thread...

It looks like Analhelm reported a whole bunch of (irrelevant) posts in that thread so it's possible he deemed yours worthy of reporting as well; that or possibly Kporg since they're both on the same level.

I believe they do, but like I said earlier, having to overpay a month or three won't be as big a deal anymore since by the 3rd or 4th month they should have "buy what you want" in place and you can finish off your leftover. It still sucks you'll have to overpay, but I don't see it as much of a deal as it was since there's an end in sight for it soon.

Accordingly, we will be extending the transfer cut-off date until we are able to implement the following improvements:

I'm not sure if they made it explicitly clear enough when they said this: but what this means is they added a new option after you select purchase Crysta > use Ultimatespan > choose pay method. So now there's the option to pay using a credit card where that option wasn't there before.

I tried to come back after a 4 year absence and I could not get them to accept my debit card by the time I sobered up. Then it was too late.

Meanwhile, Blizzard and Steam were hungry for my money.

Kinda on topic but kinda off topic, for those of you that held out on transferring accounts like myself, were you billed for this month? I just checked my bank statement and realized I haven't been charged for September yet, but I was online last night lol. Checked old debit card I used to use on account, and checked the new credit card I'm using since I came back in July, neither have any charges shown since 8/1/11.
