Yeah I live in Richmond and it happened while I was at work today, having been though an even smaller one about 7 years ago here, I knew what it was rather fast. I Couldn't help but laugh at the people at my work that started hiding under desk or started overreacting saying things like "OMG EARTHQUAKE!" It did suck a little though as that's all anyone talked about for the rest of the day.
My car started shaking up here in NY. I thought there was a fucking raccoon in the trunk.

That's what I get for opening my mouth. :3
It's not *that* terrible, when it's not flash-flood/hurricane season.Originally Posted by Cyn

20 Ridiculous Explanations of the East Coast Earthquake
Posted a few hours ago..WASHINGTON (AP) — The National Park Service says engineers have found a crack near the top of the Washington Monument presumably caused by a magnitude-5.8 earthquake that shook the East Coast.
Park service spokesman Bill Line said Tuesday night that structural engineers found the crack where the 555-foot landmark narrows considerably.
He says the monument will be closed indefinitely to keep the public safe.
An outside engineering service will study the crack on Wednesday.
The 91,000-ton monument is made of Maryland marble.
I didn't feel shit here in buffalo and my parent's didn't feel anything in the Bronx. Interesting that we had a quake though.
Bitch I fixed it. Stupid phone
My timing is impeccable.
And I thought those were "smart," phones.
