Are there any reports of property damage? I saw so many brick homes and buildings in the midwest/eastcoast and immediately thought "that would never fly in CA."

What is the logic in grounding all flights during an Earthquake? Seems like shit would be invunerable in the air.... I never heard of parts of a building falling on you when you're 20000 feet in the air....

Air traffic control is probably more concerned about damage to their instruments. Can't launch/land planes without ensuring that's at 100%.
