Did my first white proc on my 2nd attempt at bubu. You just gotta keep at it.
It is relatively quick and easy since wind weather is mostly plentiful. And even if it isn't, you can just slaughter abyssea mobs during windsday. Atma buffs makes it quick, and if you add another NIN, the chances of you finishing a 200-300 kill trial are high.Originally Posted by Apelila
If you're just using NIN for random bullshit and Dynamis, I'd say that Kannagi/WoE aren't worth the effort/time needed, unless you have the coins already. Even then, you could probably finish one and half of a second evasion sekka by the time you did the NM trials, since wind weather is frequent. Blade:Hi is just Jin+1 outside of abyssea. It isn't as drastic an improvement as some other empy WS's outside.
Ok so I bought the abyssea collection on amazon to start a 2box character, but where do I get a Playonline ID from? Amazon only shows an activation code which has to be used with an existing pol id.
Kannagi's a different story, the combination of Hi, ODD, and good damage/delay makes it significantly better than a Tobi (which is pretty much even with the stronger Jin mainhands). Eva katana is definitely pretty useful, I'd suggest a STR or DA path katana for DDing if you don't want to pursue Kannagi.
Anyone have a good THF and DNC .xml they're willing to share?
How would I go about setting up macros on 1 character to send a /tell to a 2nd character that would initiate some action? Ex: /tell <mule> Cure V <me>.
I tried PC FFXI for the first time yesterday (PS2/360 previously), so I'm not familiar with this stuff at all. I have Windower installed & working, and have read that Multisend and/or Autoexec are good for dual-boxing, but my googling hasn't yet turned up any good tutorials for either. I did read the wiki entry on Windower forum for each, but it isn't entirely clear to me how to get started.

With Multisend installed, would I just make a macro on the main character that says "//send Mule /ma "Cure V" Main"?

I used to be Windy and Bastok and they had most of the OP's while I was there, Sandy my current nation has all the OP warps. How will switching to Bastok or Windy work exactly?
Oh didn't see that... actually I could be imagining things but it does seem like one of my mules which I switched nations has "gained" a whole bunch of OPs that I used to have on another nation. I thought I was going crazy but that would explain it lol
What causes Neith to repop adds? Or does he not do that? Gonna be our first try tonight.
