Based on recast timers, it seems to be 15%. RR recast goes to 51s.

A while ago Byrth posted an answer to the (very common) question of DNC merits along with an explanation of why... I can't find it (used google site search). Also, I'm trying to figure out what the order of actions is (usually) optimal to self-sc. So far, to get TP for a second WS the obvious route seems NFR > Reverse, but I'm not sure how many merits into NFR I need and if I can rely on an attack round to get me the extra TP and still be on time to SC. Also, if relying on an extra attack round (3 FM's?) how much TP per hit is needed/safe?

Quick question from a returning player on Magian weapons. If I want to do two weapons that are the same, eg 2x pet -PDT axes for my BST, can I do them both simultaneously or must they be done one at a time?

The answer may affect the crab population of Vanadiel, and my sanity. Thanks in advance. ^^

You can upgrade multiple axes simultaneously but you cannot register for the same trial on all axes.

You can't undertake the same trial simultaneously, so you will have to do them in sequence.

If I interpret your post correctly you are pursuing the Axe trial path leading to #2007 and #2408. On this path you will have to complete #344 and #1332 which require your pet to deliver the finishing blow on 150 bombs and 150 arcana respectively. These trials can be done at the same time to save some effort. If axe#1 is on #1332 and axe#2 on #344, each bomb will count towards both trials, since bombs are considered arcana as well.

Having just got back and leveled BST and BRD from 75 to 95 plus subs, with WHM still to go, I'm looking at all the stuff I need to do to get up to speed. All AF3+1/+2 plus accessories, Magian weapons from scratch for all three main jobs, 7 of 9 zone clears and 5 of 6 caturae, twilight gear, other gear. I'm thinking I might just have the basics down by the next update, if I'm lucky. Maybe quitting for almost 2 years wasn't such a great idea. Then again, doing this stuff is going to be fun as hell.

Try coming back after 7 years and creating a new character. That will give you quite a laundry list of stuff to do.

That said, CoP had only just come out before I quit, so I have tons of new missions and add-ons to experience for the first time with my 2 friends that also returned. In the meantime I feel super gimp though try to get things like Aby zone clears without things like Suppo, Rajas, Brutal, etc etc. I'm honestly surprised a screenshot of my character hasn't popped up in the Media forums here (though I do gearswap what peices I have, so at least that's something). >_<

Haha, yeah, you win. Not sure I'd be brave enough to even try that. Shame you guys are not on Quetz - I'd probably be up for helping with some of that stuff.

Im not gonna throw math out there but, in 1 round of attack with no double attack or anything just 1 swing per hand i would get 9 TP without it, with it on I would get 10 TP from 1 normal round of attack.
