Only in FFXI would the mere plausibility of an unwelcome outcome make it seem more likely in a perverse sort of way. Do the Devs know they've traumatized their player base thusly? Surely a GM or two has bumped into a Dev at the water cooler and said 'I was reading the Jeuno shouts, they were asking eachother when the emergency maintenance to repair the planned maintenance would be over so they could plan events.'

Just finished up a second TP Bonus Fusetto +2, and can confirm that the TP Bonuses stack. Too bad CoP Dynamis AoE WS proccing is dead, but it still has uses!

Tried soloing Fistule for Card of vision for DNC AF+2

Went there full Evasion cap at 401 (with 16 merits)

Was fine until 25% too many pets and i died wasnt able to recast shadows and waltz timer was down (DNC/NIN)

Here his my kinda new evasion set

Anything bad i do? I usually keep my TP for waltz, if i see him missing me much and i have lots of TP i usually WS evisceracion for 2k dmg

Atma are GH RR and Apoc

Ignore the pets, there can be only two, but theres no point killing them since every Cytokensis will respawn em. Otherwise just deal with the waltz timers, dont forget your meds too.

Granted I'm kinda surprised you got Fistule uncontested...if theres competition see if you can team up, they might want discharges.

What collection of WS gorgets and belts will cover all weapon skills and have the least amount of strain on my inventory?

I have a lot hoarded and am afraid to toss them in case they are needed for that one stupid WS later on in life.

There is at least 1 unique WS on all of them, if you only look at existing WS, the "good" WS for all weapons can be covered by:

Earth, Water, One of (Fire|Light), One of (Wind|Thunder), Dark(Penta only), Ice(Guillotine)

See: http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/wiki/Skillchain - any of the elements listed will work (Fusion = Light or Fire), I'm sure testing exists but I can't find it as to if Darkness = (Earth Water Ice Dark) or doesn't apply.

Unless you're a non-apoc drk + sam using penta often, should be able to get by with 4.

Edit: Not accounting for if the gorget is actually best, just which *could* be used.

kparser has a built in translate function. It isn't the best ( i don't even know if it's good compared to others) but it gets the point across for most things. You can also translate on the go with it

Chances are if you're holding onto it for that "one stupid WS later on", you probably wont use it enough to justify holding it. Is upping your WS damage by 20 for one hour every month worth inv-1?

Crit hit rate +1 Light earring worth keeping?

i use 3agi/brutal on hi
3dex/2dex -2enmity on jishnus

would it replace either of those?

Also: did real quick testing of my own, but it looks like Strendu Ring beats out Icesoul for damage. I tested with thunder 1 and thunder 4 on a neutral day on blm. Looks like I can sell my second Icesoul, yes?

Would most definitely be better than Drone Earring for Hi outside, Centaurus is better for Hi inside, unless you're popping RCB and stalwarts fulltime.

80 cap NM, you'll cap eva naked. Use haste/stp/dw gear, maybe some PDT if you're still taking damage too fast. Also that's not the link for other people to see your sets, you want http://www.ffxiah.com/item-sets/231802

Snow, Flame, Breeze, Soil.
Before the release of 75 cap, This can cover every important WS except penta thrust. I'd love someone to give me counter for the current situation.

Speaking of skillchains, are there any new calculators out there with the newer WS's in them? I have to break latent on .. 6+ weapons across 4 jobs right now, and holy fuck some of them are a pain in the ass (Looking at you staff!)

Assuming Voidwatch and not abyssea. typical MNK set up, Vereth/etc, 5/5+2 / Black belt vs 4/5+2 / Black Belt / Ganesha.

Edit: Basically i see it this way... 5/5+2 offers 7STR, a small portion of set bonus (likely under 0.5% proc rate), and the 26%(25 true haste) cap.

Ganesha offers 4% Attack (Which, is roughly +20~ or so depending on the situation, possibly as high as +25/+26).

Leaning toward 5/5+2... Even if its overcapping 28% Haste, overcapping > undercapping even by a small amount yah?

I find it's faster now (especially with 2 handed weapons) to just join an abyssea pt and spam the fuck out of whatever ws then actually trying to setup skillchains. When you run around with 10 regain you can break weapons soooo fast. Though obviously when you can self skillchain for a few more points
