No idea on Anwig I'm afraid. I would assume Aias/Heca+1 would beat Ocelomeh, but I never really thought about it. I just saw the dex/agi/haste and though "fapworth sa/ta/sata hat". I'd imagine with DA/Attack augments on Heca Cap+1, it would win handilly, but couldn't tell you on Aias or non-augmented, both gain 2str for every 1 dex you lose from ocelomeh, I'm not actually sure out of 2Str or 1Dex (fstr uncapped, acc capped/uncapped) for DE/Evis, they both only have 30% Dex mods afterall.
Could Make PDT-4% Legs for Blu/Rdm/Thf/Nin as well if you don't care for cure potency on Rdm (you can cap without any augmented piece or get fairly close if you get the new cure pot body), I personally wouldn't bother with -enmity augment on it (it just makes it easier to cap cure pot and -enmity in the same set in Rdm's case, not that Rdm is useful for healing atm or anything).
For Pld +enmity/cure pot should be good considering Emp+2 legs and w legs covers pdt/movespeed/haste/fast cast with augments.
If doing for Rdm, I'd go Haste/Curepot, doubles up and saves inv space of carrying another haste piece around like calmecac trousers. Wouldn't waste them on PDT for rdm/pld (heck, after I swap cheviot for umbra, my PDT gear swaps over my standard movement/refresh idle set will be Pluviale>DS Harness+1 during daytime, and no swaps at nighttime, to cap pdt for rdm).
I prefer capping and keeping refresh slots free if possible, only problem is legs and I believe hands (7% off capped PDT in idle, swapping legs and hands is capped). I initially went curepot but realized it was pointless since if I needed to seriously heal I already have Whm leveled. Shit sucks etc.
I don't play Thf or Nin but it's also useable for Blu PDT and happens to double over for those two jobs if you care.
I lose 2/tick doing body swap though, hence pdt legs I only lose 1/tick. Need better Dark Rings really.
You could also look at hands. PDT isn't an issue at night due to Cheviot/Umbra's extra PDT, you only struggle to cap it during the daytime, and during the daytime, serpentes cuffs don't give refresh.
Didn't realize I did that already, going to fix macro on it. Only lose 1/tick at daytime then.
What's the correct syntax for binding a gkey in windower? Right now I have this as my in game macro:
/console send Char2 \/\/exec test.txt
All my stuff works fine as is with windower, XIUtils (with the newest g510.dll), and spellcast running. I just bought a new g510 keyboard. I unassigned all the keys in the default profile and added these lines to my init.txt:
bind m1g1 /console send Char2 \/\/exec test.txt
bind m1g2 //console send Char2 \/\/exec test.txt
bind m1g3 \/\/console send Char2 \/\/exec test.txt
bind m1g4 input /console send Char2 \/\/exec test.txt
bind m1g5 input //console send Char2 \/\/exec test.txt
bind m1g6 input \/\/console send Char2 \/\/exec test.txt
alias m1g7 /console send Char2 \/\/exec test.txt
bind m1g8 //console send Char2 \/\/exec test.txt
bind m1g9 \/\/console send Char2 \/\/exec test.txt
bind m1g10 input /console send Char2 \/\/exec test.txt
bind m1g11 input //console send Char2 \/\/exec test.txt
bind m1g12 input \/\/console send Char2 \/\/exec test.txt
This one:
/console send Char2 \/\/exec test.txt
... works as a macro and in the chatlog but not as a gkey, so I'm pretty sure I'm just not binding the keys properly.
Best belt/ring combo for pld tp atm ? Currently useing goading/blitz. Any decent rings available now that make it worth useing a 6% haste belt? I only use pld for voidwatch and i haven't parsed but positive not acc capped.
Phasmida Belt/Mars's Ring springs to mind.
is ranger or cor better for Wildfire brewing, or does it matter.
Cor will do more dmg but chances are the cor wont kill it any faster than the rng unless it happens to fall right in that 15% margin of 1 shotting. And even than it's like half a second faster to do fireshot wildfire than wildfire wildfire lol.
Personally I prefer rng. Not just because I don't have cor but because a rng can throw on th3-4 rq between wildfires. And 10/15 peircing procs. But then again when I brew it's usually just me doing much if you got someone to proc and TH while you freeze timer than whatever floats your boat.
Also though it doesn't matter cor has never ever gotten better MAB gear than rng. It just seems that way since no rng goes out and gets MAB gear usually lol. Right now rng can get about 6 more. Not like it makes that much of a difference with brew MAB lol.
So now that I have 85 masamune, is there a point to using weaponskills other than Fudo? Also, are most people doing 5 hits or 6 hits? It seems like I would have to sacrifice a lot for a 5 hit, plus (inside Abyssea especially) it looks like there would be a lot of TP overflow with double attacks/zanhasso procs. Plus I can do 6 hit without any Store TP merits, so I could throw them into something else now. Any advice from people more experienced with SAM is appreciated.
