On very high defense enemies (like in Voidwatch), it may be best to use Gekko still.
Konzen-ittai -> Kasha -> Fudo for two lights, so there's that as well.

Has there ever been any consensus on whether the skill up foods are divided based on skill level or offensive/defensive?
Yeah, a SAM in our party was reporting 300 damage Fudos to Qilin. <_<; Without buffs Steel Cyclone even holds its own against Raging Rush in my experience. When I zerged Krabimanjaro a while ago, my Steel Cyclones were pretty competitive with Ukko's just thanks to the attack boost (no MS).
Good to know. I don't do Voidwatch at the moment, but I might once I'm done playing catchup with the Abyssea stuff I need. Thanks!Yeah our SAM was reporting ~400 damage from Fudo whereas Gekko was closer to 1k. This was on both Pil and Kaggen, although tbh SAM isn't so hot on either.
Anyone have thoughts on 5 hit vs 6 hit for Masamune?
Cor is better than ranger for brewing by far if you have multiple pops to kill with the brew. That fire shot is usually enough of a boost to wildfire to one shot any NM if your gear is any good, and fire shot goes off much faster than a second WF if you are on ranger. When I brew for my ls we wait until procs are on then pull the monster to a Martello where I stay locked and I can knock out anywhere from 8-14 NMs on one brew depending on which mob it is.
Just an update that I got this working. You made me notice that the second half of my attempts were still copy/pasted with the 'bind' on there, so it got my hopes up. In the end, none of them worked. This is what I went with:
alias M1G1 send Char2 \/\/cureiii Char1;
What was screwing me up is that you need to have XIUtils up in the background. It can't be minimized or the G510support.dll won't work. For some reason I also needed to capitalize M and G, which I never had to do with my old keyboard. It worked fine with just m1g1 and so on. Anyways, thanks for another eye on my problem.

Ideal SAM set at 95.
I rarely use anything but Fudo. For super high Def VW sub THF, stacked I average over 2k on Kaggen. If you are zerging like on Qilin I use /war and with meds attack isn't a problem.
Hmm optimal cure set for my whm mule? Thinking of something like this correct me if I am wrong.
Surya +3/Reign/X/Incantor
AF+2/Fylgia/Orison Ear/ Mnd Ear?
AF+2/Augur/Mnd Ring/Mnd Ring
Oretania/Mnd waist/AF+2/AF+2
How much are you willing to spend/work at a mule?
Surya +3/Verse Strap +1/xxx/Quartz Tathlum
af3+2/Fylgia Torque +1/Orison Earring/Roundel Earring
af3+2/Augur Cuffs/MND/MND
Orison Cape/Cascade Belt/af3+2/Marduk's Crackows
That's the 'Gold Standard' without getting into things like -enmity or Medicine Ring.
For mnk tp
Full af3+2 or Ganeisha mask/usu feet combo?
I wanna say af3+2 set, but i have no math to back it up.
All the best and all the decent WF gear is usable by Cor and Rng (And most of it by Thf as well...)
Pandinus/MKD hat, Uggy/Artemis, Novio/Hectate/Moldy, Mirke/Loki's, Alruna's/Schultzen, Stormsoul Rings, Forban Cape, Svelts/Aquiline, Denali/Ambusher, AF3+2 feet... All of those are equipable by both Cor and Rng. In fact, Rng has slightly better damage as it can equip Tjukurrpa over forban (+1 MaB) and it's AF3+2 feet have 15AGI as opposed to Cor's 12. I don't disagree with Cor being better due to fire shot and MaB Roll, but purely in terms of gear, rng is actually better.
Also gotta figure how many nms are you going to fight where they fit between that rather small range between the cors WF and the rngs. I mean say the rng can do 50k WF. For the fireshot to make a difference that means the nm has to have more than 50k but less than 57.5k. Well and whatever the fireshot is doing so make it 60k tops to make it easy. Does it happen? Sure. Often? No not at all. And if you aren't falling in that range the cor is actually taking longer to kill if they bother with fireshot. Plus I can't think of anything off the top of my head that I'd bother brewing that would only take 1 wildfire.
I just tried to reactivate my content IDs after not playing for a few months and ran into problems. I can log onto my old POL just fine, but when I try to access that membership information menu to update my payment information I just get kicked out of POL and told to transfer to a SE account. If I don't try to go to that menu everything in POL works normal (I can use Flist etc; the account isn't suspended).
Now, when I go to the SE account and click "transfer", it doesn't work. With no explanation it just says this in red letters: "This POL ID cannot be transfered. Please contact customer support or whatever. Fuck you."
The account is EU if that makes any difference. It shouldn't because SE said they're extending the transfer deadline for us too and I don't see any final deadline posted anywhere.
Also "note that after the transfer you will no longer be able to use the POL Flist function". Does that include in game? They should remove the search function and the AH while they're at it so the game feels more modern.
COR has skillchain damage roll which may help 2shotting some NMs that may get random resists and whatnot, will do far more than any gear differences anyways.
Are there any bst pets out there that could do good AOE dmg or that can be good with the right atmas? Like say to the point where 2-3 bst could do some weird ass cleave?
Also is there some kind of ap/plug in that will alert you when weather changes audibly?
