For RNG I have no acc issues on Pil. I actually prefer Tactician's/Miser. That combo with save tp atmacite gives me a 1 hit as long as i get 2 tics in between my ra.

Depends on their pDif and Haste values, I'd think. Tactician's Roll has decreasing benefits when total Haste increases, so it becomes less useful when you're walking around with zerg-tier buffs. Likewise, the usefulness of Chaos really depends on what you're fighting and what food/attack values people have already. I doubt many people are going to be capping Attack in VW, but it has decreasing returns regardless.
I generally just give people Tact/Miser's because that's what I use on Corsair and my DDs can deal with it. It's also the ideal roll set for proc'ing, so that's handy.
Chaos will almost never beat Miser's, though. 25% Save TP is a 25% increase in WS frequency in ideal situations, assuming people's X-hits aren't being screwed and they sit at 95% or something for a swing. If you're looking at 2-handers with strong Empyrean WS, that's a solid 15-20% increase in damage, ignoring the Skillchain benefits.
After an annoying fuck up with a trojan that involved having to use ComboFix to remove, I had to uninstall and reinstall FFXI (via Steam) to get POL to even start. Upon launching POL for the first time since the reinstallation, I downloaded the 25 file update, and then upon restart was greeted with this:
Selecting it, opens a simple one line form asking for the user password. Anything I enter is deemed incorrect. Hitting "cancel" to go back a line crashes POL. Hitting "Add Member" to bypass it crashes POL. Going to "check files" crashes POL. Doing nothing for too long crashes POL. Not sure what else to do at this point.
Has there been any research into what Tier 2 DRG merits grasp the most usefulness or dmg output? I've obviously gone 5/5 Angon and one into deep breathing, but where else is the best between empathy and strafe? Is strafe worthwhile at all? It also seems as tho Empathy possesses diminishing returns since it can only pass to the wyvern so many giveable buffs. Should I go more into deep breathing? What adds up the most? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for the roll advice, yeah the thing I like about tacticians/misers is it works for me too.
Well I guess Rng has an extra 60Racc in traits, which after sushi should bump you up from 50% to 85% hit rate, much more acceptable. I'm going to try Cor/Rng next time and give myself Hunters after buffing DD, see what my hit rate is like.
Fuck Strafe. I sware empathy used to transfer buffs in order accross the top, but whether it did or not it now transfers random ones. It would be nice if it transfered them in order as you could put in enough to garantee your wyvern gets haste every time, but in reality seems it gets crap like protect, hasso, cureskin etc.
I'd put 1 in Empathy for 0HP spirit links for TP, and then 4 in Deep Breathing.
Best TP/WS sets for Caladbolg PLD?
And what attachments should I use with various frame setups on PUP?
Can SMN+SMN (edit: with PLD support) handle Seiryu?
Can you obtain campaign items from other nations or do you have to change?
Prudence torque still good for blm?
