trying to do the mule lvling off the bloodsucker page, but I cant seem to find the proper positioning on killing leeches I keep getting the too far from battle message.

It's not hte book when you drop down into the zone. It's the book in the middle of the zone. For your 2nd character killing, they can't be at the NE of the map, but anywhere else should work.

So I stopped playing a little while ago. When cap was just raised to 80. I was thinking about coming back, but was wondering about how long it would take me to catch up. And if Abbysia is more of a hnmls thing, or if it's just like a regular pick-up thing? Also wondering how much of a pain it's going to be to get Dynamis AF(if it's not completely outdated by now), and other gear that is now used at these higher levels.
I have rdm 77, BLM74, SMN75. I'd like to get RDM and BLM both up 1st. I don't expect much from smn.

My RDM has decent gear for a lv75 at the time, though I am missing some key pieces like AF2 hat. It also is pretty much set up with merits.
My BLM doesn't have great gear. When I was in an hnmls, I was focusing on RDM, since I didn't really start leveling BLM until after I stopped doing endgame. It has some good gear that I have for my RDM's nuke set, but doesn't have the great blm stuff, not even any AF2. No merits either as I never hit 75.
My SMN has decent gear I suppose. Nothing too special as again, was focused on RDM, and honestly the only reason smn got to 75 in the 1st place was smn burns. I did keep the gear up to date though. Yinyang robe, evokers, all the basics. etc.
Never finished WotG, think I got to the mission before the Jeuno attack. Was there ever a good reason to ever finish wotg? I'll get to it eventually, but I'd like to make my priority reaching the cap and updating my gear. Don't have any of the abbysia expansions, which I know I'll have to buy.

Keep your mule at the book, and take your main down and in this narrow tunnel you should be directly under your mule. Just kill in the tunnel, and just outside the tunnel at both ends. If no competition should be enough mobs within xp range on both sides for you until repops.

Alot of stuff

Abyssea is very lowman friendly, just need some atma which are easy to get nowadays. Relic gear isn't hard to get either, between the relic drop increase a long time ago + dynamis being able to be done everyday now can get the relic gear easy enough. The AF3(or empyrean) armor that most people use now isn't that bad either.

Of the jobs you got most useful for abyssea is probably gonna be BLM for proccing. RDM isn't super necessary in Aby. For Voidwatch all 3 jobs you have are useful though. And finishing WoTG gives you an augmentable earring, of which for your jobs listed the most useful would be Macc+4/Refresh +1 when your weapon isn't drawn.

Like I said ingame Das. You used a stone and for next CSs you need to get new one. I had the same stuff happened with my mule I used my first stone and wanted to get him time and go kill all 9 bosses but I used a stone and needed to wait 20h for a next one to get CSs at maws. When I got new one I just ran to all of them triggering all CSs before I used more stones.

It didn't die from DoT, it clearly says "Kurriko defeats the Pachipodum"
It wasn't blinked melee round otherwise that round would have appeared in the chatlog after Boost. Boost was used after the last attack round (JA delay means any attack afterwards would have appeared after Boost in log. It's unlikely have been counter kill because the mandy had another attack round after the last counter proc and no message appeared in the log afterwards.

1) Abyssea will allow you to finish those three jobs to 90 very fast. And you can do more in speedy pickups. Aim for Abys-Altep PTs.
2) Replace almost everything with abyssea AF3, aim for +2 on BLM especially. Gil is easy to make these days, selling abyssea junk items in most zones. Can use that to update those accs.
3) The WoTG rewards are pretty meh, but you could get the refresh earring for your mage jobs.

Don't even sweat being behind in game now, everything is shit easy atm lol. Probably the best time to come back as well, one month to upgrade like Beyonce before 95 cap.

By writing "it died from dot" he had on mind that DOT tic happened exactly while you was WSing and there is a game bug that will count it as DoT kill. The same you can do with timing last melee hit with casting a spell to get azure.

If you plan on really getting back into the game during Abyssea, then please please please heed this advice: Concentrate on Abyssites, Atmas, and Zone Boss wins before you even start thinking about gear!!! Until you have those Atma/Abyssites, you are effectively useless inside Abyssea! Seriously, Atmas are worth more than any possible set of gear you can get (Well, for your jobs. An argument could be made for Haste gear for a Melee, barely).

Specifically, with your jobs, you want to get Atma of the Minikin Monstrosity (MM) as soon as possible, followed by Atma of the Beyond. Make sure to go to the Atma Fabricant in all zones and get any and all Synthetic Atmas that they offer you. If you've ever killed Proto-Ultima, then you'll have Atma of the Ultimate, which, combined with the above 2 Atmas, is the best set for BLM. If you insist on playing RDM, then you might want Atma of Allure. If you finish the Add-on A Shantotto Acession, then you'll have access to Atma of Ambition, which is a good 3rd Atma for healing.

As far as Abyssites, they're all useful, but the ones you want to prioritize are Abyssites of Celerity to accelerate your stone accumulation (Unless you started Stone generation a long ass time ago and have like 200+ Stones, then you can hold off on this one for a bit). Next most important are Abyssites of Merit which give 10%HP/5%MP per Abyssite (of which there are 6, 2 of them bought, I believe). Third in line are Abyssites of Furtherance which will increase your cruor stat buffs by +10 (3 of these, 1 of which is bought).

Now on my current server, there aren't very many shouts for this stuff these days as most people already have it done, but keep your eye out for them, and try to get an LS or group of friends that will help you bust this stuff out. Pretty much everything I've listed can be easily duo'd by people who already have the above Atmas/Abyssites, and who aren't retards.. If you just go in saying "Herp Derp, I read on BG that all of this can be duo'd" and you try to be that 2nd person, you will likely die. When BGers say anything in Abyssea can be duo'd, they assume the people already have Atma/Abyssite (and usually good gear and/or Empy).

Note also that XP is retardedly easy to get in Abyssea, which means that, not only will you level your current jobs insanely fast, but that nothing is stopping you from taking other jobs straight to 90 within a day or 2. You might wanna think about leveling one of the following solely for getting shit done in Abyssea: WHM, MNK, WAR, NIN, THF, and maybe even BLU if you want to have an easier time solo AOE farming stuff.

Did you consume your stone on the NPC for abyssea status first time going in?

If so, have to wait until you get your next stone before getting the next CS at Joachim to then get the ones for each zone.

That's an interesting fact. I didn't even know two methods could happen at exactly the same time. Even so, there was no DoT on them.
