Best club for WHM DD Magian or another one? (excluding relic)
Well, hopefully a retailer will have it, because their online store lists a link of websites that sell it, but all of them no longer carry it except for Amazon. I'd have preferred to just be able to download the content and get the keys without owning a physical copy, but oh well. Lets just hope I can find 1 in a retail store near my house so I don't have to wait for amazon.
question about Jailer of Faith low manning. Outside taking my rdm out and taking god knows how long to solo it can vere mnk/nin + pocket taru (can go rdm or whm) handle him? I can just bring a friend to TH it.
Any dd/nin + healer can kill, the only difficult part is getting the torque to drop
I kill it in about 2m MNK/BRD/WHM on MNK/WAR, I imagine it would be relatively similar in your setup
Edit: Yes, 0/24 with TH says the droprate is pretty solid

This happened to me a long time ago, too. Apparently, it's a bug that makes you get the light from the previously used action.
Edit: Does anyone have a working Clipper link? Not being able to walk through mobs is getting on my nerves.

maybe I completely missed the bus on this(and if I did i apologize for a stupid question), but is there some exploit for lamprey lord and his acid mist move or something else that I completely missed for soloing him or tanking him on a dd job/nin? Someone I know mentioned something about it and I'm honestly lost. I looked through wiki and player comments and didn't find anything.
Well you either pin it or stun acid mist. Or you could just bring more people than you need but that's never fun.
edit: I've done it nin/war rdm/sch fine before but yeah, it's stil annoying.
oh I know about stunning mist, but it gains a para aura when you do. add in the triple attack rate it has and I'm trying to figure out how someone is claiming to tank it on drk/nin or war/nin and they seem pretty serious about it. Personally I've always gone on an evasion job for that mob and just deal with acid mist if I can't stun it.
I soloed him on DNC/NIN a few times, and duoed him DNC/NIN + WHM/NIN a few more times. If you stun Acid Mist, he gets a weak Para aura. If you're solo, stunning it is kind of a must. My fights went like this:
1) Build TP on surrounding monsters
2) Pop him, self-skillchain him into his first Blood Weapon
3) Try to bring him below his next BW threshold before the first one ends, and get at least one FM for Violent Flourish
4) When his BW ends, he'll ready Acid Mist and then go back into Blood Weapon again. If you Stun it, he'll get a weak para aura that doesn't amount to shit.
5) Repeat step 3 and 4 until he dies.
If done properly (albeit somewhat dangerously), this kills him in about 3 minutes. IIRC, when he has BW up he can't poison you so he's effectively less damaging with BW than without. It's basically a solo zerg strategy. If I get a good first skillchain off, I can take him below his first two BW treshholds off the opening skillchain which gets me considerable leeway with the rest of the fight. I haven't had to kill him since the CF buff, but I'm sure that would only help.
