Are AN still useful or fuck that?
Are AN still useful or fuck that?
If you're talking about the room directly north of the Madame, they can be slept with lullaby because that's how my group clears that room for Alex, but I dunno about dark based sleeps. We pull them all on THF, AE for putting on TH, then time FC+Horde together. Can clear every one of them in ~1min.
My own question: does anyone have any lowman strategies for the Kindred Crests NMs, specifically Jingang Greaves and Calmecac Subligar ones? Last-Shunned Orc Hero and Whom Wilt Thou Call are the names.
Sheep Song also works on them. It lasts forever, too. Last time I did that zone on BST, my sheep just sacked that shit for me and I pulled out Yuly for the frog.
From end of last thread, but not answered yet so:
I know I did Garlaige Citadel beetles vs bombs behind Gate 2 until 60 at least, and I'm thinking I probably just grinded there until 61. At 61 you can move to Caederva Mire and stay there for a long time. It is pretty slow at 61, but it gets better with every level and the sanction XP bonus kind of makes up for it.
Does Shadow Belt increase accuracy on all hits of a weaponskill?
Is the +0.1 ftp modifier for it listed on otherwiki accurate?
Break does work on the gears and on the chariot as well.
0.1 fTP is accurate. Shadow Belt probably increases the accuracy of all hits, though I don't know if any attempts to quantify it have been made. IIRC, everything we know about belt accuracy is derived from our knowledge of gorget accuracy, which is mostly based on a test where someone spammed Fast Blade with uncapped Acc (and no DA/TA gear/trait) and recorded their TP return. They ballparked it to +10, though it could be more or less. Assuming belts are the same, they'd also be +10 to both hits.
Anyone did NW apollyon recently? Are some mobs there have some strong PDT or something? I think I didn't broke 2k Insurgency even once and I have almost optimal WS set and it was with around 850 att. On wyrm I was doing like 600 lol and my friend was doing like 50% better damage with Coronach then me with Insurgency and he definitely wasn't at ranged att cap. Seems kinda strange to me.
I think they just have really high defense. I melee duoed it up to KB DNC+BRD. For some reason I forgot to use Scherzo on the final boss and just ate it and HPed because I didn't need the chip. I was doing it for pics or something.
On the Wyrm, my Eviscerations ranged between 500 and 1000 damage.
Climactic Flourish -> Rudra's hit 1600 on the turtle boss
Tottering Toby, how does it work.
I followed what I picked off wiki:
as well as information from the talk pageOf the three pairs of Stalking Saplings in its spawn area on Wide Scan, the placeholder appears as the first sapling of the top (first) pair of saplings.
99 being the accurate one, since 153 isnt even a sapling (153 is probably old from before SE added new mobs?)ID for Place Holder seems to be 153. --Koeta 04:34, December 29, 2010 (UTC) >>>>>>> Wrong : it's 99. --MercureGilgamesh 18:10, August 20, 2011 (UTC)
So I'm pretty sure I'm following this correctly...but this fucker hasnt popped, in 12 hours. Am I doing something wrong?
Do you mean the PH mob hasn't spawned, or the NM himself hasn't spawned? First thing I'd do is to stop trusting Wiki on any subject that requires technical understanding. You need like 3 kills, so just figure out which PH it is for yourself by rounding up the saplings (I use a mage job for Diaga) and killing them all at once. When Toby pops the first time, look for the saplings that are dead and they're probably the PHs.
NM hasnt popped, PH isnt a problem.
I'll do the roundup shit...not like I've got anything to lose at this point lol. Though...its a hassle and nuisance, the 6 possible PH's spawn sporadically anywhere in a 2x2 grid, took 5 minutes just to round em up -.-
I hate NM trials
lololol. I JUST got finished camping this thing and was having similar issues. Fucker just wouldn't pop. I started Trial 151 back in 2010 before I quit too, and never got the fucker to pop. So I was on that trial for a year and a half. I'm not on PC so I had to manually figure it out. Didn't have the luxury of PHer IDs. If you stand at the Northwestern most grave tomb on the funeral mound, check widescan from that point. Easiest way I found was take the 6/7 orcs in a row (Toby shows up between the last 2), and count the pairs *up* from that orc grouping. The top one in the pair 3rd *up* from the orc grouping is the PHer. Can also start counting pairs after Skirkling Liger which is almost always up but sometimes slightly out of WS range using Lv 37 /RNG.
Edit: Annnnd I'm a slow typer.
