First off: apologies if this should be in tech support but didn't seem with starting a thread for.

Since moving house and setting my pc back up POL viewer no longer loads properly (with or without windower). I get the splash screen then the window doesn't appear. I get the awful POL music, an icon on the task bar and if press up or down I can hear it cycling through the menus.

If I change POL to non-windowed mode it works fine.

Any ideas? I haven't tried uninstalling yet as I only realised there was a problem before.I came to work this morning.

I'm not concerned with the expense, I thought Merc. Kris was actually faster for tp then /ra. No Orberon bullets for sale, been checking on and off for a week.

Don't have smoldering sky yet, on the to-do list. Replacement atma? Have Ultimate and Lone Wolf.

I used the most Snapshot/Rapid Shot I can in my TP set. I TP fairly quickly.

The value of agi vs mab vary greaterly depending on how much agi you have int the mob has and your mab. Also if you really beleive that 2 agi> 1 MAB why are you not using a 50 agi atma and instead using a 50 mab atma?

In Aby-- You use MAB/Fire attack.

Also, as Cair said in not so many words, it would take 100 AGI to > 50 MAB...

Outside Aby, it does matter and there are hardly any monsters I fight that really need me to stack AGI anymore. VW being about it. The AGI you get from a good set is already so damn high.

Which mobs are best to cleave in Grauberg(A) for cruor and ki? Is 3 Azdaja per non wildfire brew reasonable?

I plan a cleaving and taking 3 characters in zone. If I can get 65k/hr on each character that will keep brews coming in as I'm farming ki. Hoping to avg 3 ki and 1 brew per hour, and doing 75 in about 15hrs. I'm starting off with 9 brews so maybe knock off 5-6 hours depending on ki drops.

Either way its way fucking better than colorless souls.

Physical Ws's for Azdaja brew? I'm fine with 3/brew. If its easy to squeeze out 4-5 then I'll ask someone to tag along to hold ki and +2's

I heard many good claims about :To being very good for Azdaja and I assume all hybrid WS might be very good for it. Just remember hybrid Wses are affected by att so going with gimped skill in weapon is not advised.

Short version: How can I twobox w/controller?

Long version: For the longest time, if I tried to run a second instance and use my controller, 2nd instance would freak out and spam "move menu cursor down" (making it impossible to play; keeps self-targetting, can't pick macros, etc). But only on the second instance. If I switch back to my 1st instance, the controller did not freak out. Also, if I unplug the controller it stops spamming.

At one point, I had it so it was not freaking out in 2nd instance, but I dunno how I did it. I have tried making sure it's calibrated, I have tried plugging it in before 1st instance is up, after 2nd instance is up, and between the two. But it still freaks out and spams "down" in 2nd instance only.

If you say "use kb/mouse," I will throw my controller at you SO GOOD it will make you BLEED!

Tried Evis and it didn't output as much dmg as AE. Just use a THF AE and for TH. Just remember to use screens before popping (all 3 at the same time)

Usually switching back and forth between windows fixes that issue for me. Alternatiely you can log in your main with controller plugged in, then change the usb port your controller is plugged into, load pol for your second account and log in game. Plug the controller back in the original port nad you'll have it work for your main only.
FFXI picks the last controller you connected every time you start it, if you have two controllers you can load one instance of the game with only one connected, then plug the other in and load your second instance. I used this trick for a while when a windower update broke the usual behavior.
This is a workaround and not a real solutions though, you can search for updated drivers for your controller or (if it is a ps3-compatible one) try with ds3tool.

I can get 4 Azdaja's per AE easily, 5 most of the time, 6 if people pulling them to me don't suck and I get all 3 as soon as I unlock. Trying any more is just wasting a pop, but it's not like they're hard to farm.

You will basically do half the damage AE does to Dragua, and twice the damage AE does to Isgebind (if you were ever silly enough to try, or lucky enough to see someone else try)

Skill shouldn't really matter too much seeing as you are set to 999 att and probably get some kind of acc boost and then acc from 999 dex. Could always use drinks if you chicken
