Has anyone received their Charity Cap from the September 1st donation tally yet?
Can Carabosse be duo'd by nin and whm? Or even thf and whm?
So I was reading a discussion on the FFXIAH puppet master forums regarding WS belts for Stringing Pummel here and I ran accross a very interesting post.First I would like to ask, is this person true that gorgets only work on the first hit? I remember a very long time ago that it was assumed to work only on the first hit but I also remember that being disproven.Since the belts work like the gorgets. The fTP increase, and therefore the damage increase, will only apply to the first hit.
Plugging it all into a Kinematic's spreadsheet(too tired and lazy.) Bier(+1) Still wins both inside and out. Ele.Belts are about equal to Sentry, with Sentry winning outside but Ele.Belts pulling ahead a bit inside(when I say a bit I mean 1-3damage.) It's only an assumption but, Pipilaka would most likely end up inbetween Beir(+1) and Ele.Belts/Sentry in terms of damage.
Second, while I have no math to back my opinion up I was under the impression the Elemental Belts are actually very good and not something you would replace unless using Empyrean WSes or relic WSes like Kaiten. Was my assumption wrong? I just am having a hard time imaging a Belt with really only STR+5 would beat the fTP bonus. (When he talks about sentry)
I'd say /blm and stun. Easy, but still has a small chance of getting fucked. Lack of dispel sucks, but it's not that bad.
now i'm hurting for a way to get dark damage killshots for my dark staff. I don't have twilight cloak so cant do impact, my smn is 75 and naked, so that's out, every bird i fight kicks my ass so i can't melee > cataclysm. Trying to get killshots with drain or noctohelix is fucking retarded too.
What options do I have left? if none, what's my best next step? lvl smn? get impact?
I just leveled SAM, and I realized that I know none of the intricacies of the job. I recall there was some change fairly recently to Zanshin that was actually a big deal and changed the way you could play the job, but I don't know what the change was or how to take advantage of it. I've been trying to find some info, but all I'm finding is numbers without context (As though it's assumed the reader knows what they mean, lol).
I'm really interested to know how to make and play a "Zanshin Build" on SAM. If someone could give me the basics or point me in the right direction, I would much appreciate it.
Edit: Found the update notes for it, so at least now I know what it actually does, but some advice would be much appreciated on how I should play SAM in light of these info (Hasso fulltime to take advantage of extra attacks/TP, or Seigan when I have hate to proc some Zanshin Counterattacks? Stuff like that)
okay, so you get to keep Abyssite forever right? once you get it you keep it forever? and all the effects from all the abysites you have stack? or is there some invisible limit?
And atma you infuse with Lunar Abysite, but only 1 atma to a lunar abysite? meaning if you get all 3 lunar, 3 max atma at the same time?
And do you always keep your atma, even if you infused one, then replaced it with another?
Another question about Carabosse, anyway to deal with the damage reduction after 2 hour? Seems like it will take awhile to duo after bene.
Atmas for SAM?
