I kinda wanna make my mule a WoE gun (I don't think 10 agi and ODD which I won't be taking advantage of make that much of a difference), but I've never done WoE, how is it? Min. people required to enter? How long could it potentially take to get all of the coins?

I'm doing the same got to 62 last night, but I think writing a script that just spams songs will be the fastest and it can be done while at work/sleeping.

Easy alot of jobs can solo many zones babies just gotta understand how the battles work. Most lower zones could probably be won with a pt assuming people know what they are doing. 1 needed to enter. You can also jump in on someone elses even in the middle as long as they aren't more than 50% done

So much luck based. So many factors like if you have enough people to win. What zones are even available (last time I did it only had 1,2,3 and 5 unlocked on my server ). How many people you lotting against. I did a couple of weapons worth in a week going 3-4 times a day. But yeah alot of that was solo or going against other people lotting. Plus I dc'd a bit so didn't place as often as I should've on ones we won.

@leroys woe, I'm holding off until update to mess with woe again. If you have a group of 4-5 ppl and no one leeching your shit you can make some great progress. But I do most of my shit dual box so I'm really looking forward to the changes.

Re: Skillups on songs - wind/string can skill on resists, singing can't. You'll get wind pretty close to cap first and singing will lag behind until wind skill is enough to land itself, then can switch to harp and your singing skill should allow you to land, plus string skill when you don't.

If you have SMN, BST, take 5 people and do #5 or #7, can just toss pets at it and you all get a chest at the end.

If a more "normal" setup, whm (whm or rdm) dd dd sac can clear #2 easily. sac sound-agg's a megaslime, dd pulls it off. sac stands at top of stairs to block any rushing slimes, repeat. Can also have DD voke megaslime then sac diaga the adds off - works better that face-aggro if the sac is weak.

Yeah brd songs are different. Found out when I was trying to proc on my fresh 90 brd with 0 skill, lol. Got skill up and thought it landed but was a resist. Go to town on goldfish, then worms once you get higher in abysea ule or w/e.

Also, thanks for the info about WoE. I'm working on caladbolg right now, so I very well might not get around to doing gun until update anyways.

So I was reading a discussion on the FFXIAH puppet master forums regarding WS belts for Stringing Pummel here and I ran accross a very interesting post.
First I would like to ask, is this person true that gorgets only work on the first hit? I remember a very long time ago that it was assumed to work only on the first hit but I also remember that being disproven.

Second, while I have no math to back my opinion up I was under the impression the Elemental Belts are actually very good and not something you would replace unless using Empyrean WSes or relic WSes like Kaiten. Was my assumption wrong? I just am having a hard time imaging a Belt with really only STR+5 would beat the fTP bonus. (When he talks about sentry)

I haven't used SAM in Abyssea since the update. Its a beast of a job outside though. I'm not sure how ~7%+ Zanhasso would stack against the other 2 atmas.

I don't have Hellgaurdian atma, but even with a Zanhasso build. Sam is still underwhelming in Abyssea, sadly - even though it's such a beast outside abyssea.

I just spent an entire Hour entering and re-entering my PoL ID and PoL PW into the same fucking box over and over. All it would say is "Your PoL ID and PW are incorrect", then the one time it didn't say that, it said that i couldn't transfer over my ID, then after clicking around on PoL for another 20 mins, I tried again, and this time it fucking worked.


Edit: Anyone have any experience with changing servers? I need help badly.
