Was the same for me, that's how I eventually found out it was 2. I can't believe the number of 2s I actually passed up when I cleaved for my Ukon thinking "a 3 is right around the corner, I can feel it....."

I got a new computer. Specs should be way above what is needed to run FFXI, yet, I lag even worse than my 6 year old computer that i was using before. The lag is sooooo bad. Any idea on what is causing the lag and how to fix it?

What video card? When I bought a new PC ffxi hated the nvidia card and I had to have it replaced.

Also will want to make sure your drivers are up to date. If try are you can try looking or around to see if maybe some older drivers perform better.

A friend of mine has loaded attainment, and instead of numbers it has words... I remember reading something somewhere about how to fix it but I can't find it, anyone recall?

looking to try and farm a few tiger king hides from gold chests and maybe the nm (yea right....) trying to save a little on the 4mil+ pricetag to finish 90 ukon trial.

Is there a certain amber # that I should be looking for? I went up to 50 and started to get KI chests so it has to be super low. Any experience is appreciated.

I may just say fuck it and buy them all. Money really isn't a problem, I'm just cheap <.<

Its going to depend on the strength of lights in the zone. Most people ive talked to get around 30 amber but at times, just getting 16+ can give you to many large chests.

Make sure the attainment folder is there as well, it has tokens.xml to translate the words to numbers.

I've always farmed them at 0 Amber. I see plenty of Sharabha Hide + TKH and double TKH Boxes. I don't think it's possible to have "too little" Amber lights for max TKHs, just too much. Make sure to have at least one other character with you for when you DO see those double TKH boxes so they don't go to waste.

Agree with this. Whatever the hidden amber is from bastion seems to be perfect for hides. Adding amber seems to get you big chests pretty quickly.

What are people's droprate for 100s off NMs/boss from dyna? -_- Farmed for 3 days with dozen+ kill per day and still not a single 100.

One quick check off dom npc about the benefits in the zone can tell you how much amber you need, check on high pyxide discovery, the higher than is , the less you need. If it's like lvl 5/6, then 0/1 amber is good, but if it's 3/4 lvl then you do 2/3 max and you should be just fine. Also a good trick is if you find yourself too much amber, aka only big gold, just zone out and redo.

If restraint is up, drop Perle for Empyrean +2 and use Blitz. WS pants should be changed to Empyrean +2/Hachiryu but I'm lazy.
