Chasmic Hornet. If he uses Terminal Sting, can he still drop items? Or just the sringers? Also any tips for proccing/killing him without him using Terminal Sting if the answer to the first is no?
Claimed him just now, Whm+Thf, Club for blue but couldn't land it because he spammed Frenzy Pollen. (Reset hate on thf, meaning can't just turn on thf to wait till proc as he goes hundred fists on my whm's ass). And by spammed I mean as soon as it wore off he'd use it again.

Any advice other than suck less?

Has anyone else had trouble getting Kparser to run recently? I reinstalled my OS recently, and since then I can't seem to get it to work, no matter what I do. I start it, and it just doesn't record anything.

OS: Windows XP pro x64
Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 is installed.
Microsoft SQL Server Compact Edition 3.5 SP1 (SQLCE 3.5sp1) both x86 and x64 installed.

Questions from career NIN leveling PLD for Voidwatch:

1. Getting AF3+2 done is no problem, but what old-content armor do I absolutely need to go back and get?
2. Will I typically TP in 4/5 AF3+2 and Zelus Tiara?
3. Is ToM -PDT Sword what I should be using until I can get the Almace done?
4. Is Seigneur Shield the most likely candidate apart from Aegis or Ochain?
5. Keeping in mind this is probably only for Voidwatch, what should Merits look like?
6. Anyone have a decent Spellcast XML that shows gear sets?

Help with answering any of the above questions would be greatly appreciated!

If you are 100% sure you can stun Disgorge, then by all means /blm and any DD is fine.

If not, then NIN to migawari it.

1. I don't know anything you NEED right now, as long as you have general PDT/MDT sets. Everything else is just smaller stuff.

3. If it's for Voidwatch, then probably yes.
4. I'm going to say it will depend on the mob, but Seigneur isn't the worst to use for VW as almost everything casts spells.
5. Guardian 5/5, Fealty 4/5, Chivalry 1/5 | Sentinel 5/5, Shield Bash 5/5 is what I did. Not every mob can be stunned, so I guess Rampart works just as well as Bash. Fealty works wonders against enfeebling, and Chivalry just when you have a bad streak of TP moves and run completely out of mp and don't have a Devotion ready (doesn't happen a lot, why 1/5 is enough).

While I hate Ninja now, I was in the same boat as I did most of my tanking on Ninja/Samurai/Monk in the old days.

1. There are some nice pieces to go out and get, need is a different story.
a. Shadow Mantle/Shadow Ring
b. Heca(+1!) gear for CDC, augmented
c. W.Legs (Not for VW per se...but can be useful for some fights, especially pre-brochain/aegis)
d. AF1/AF2 gear (or +1 through limbus/COP) where applicable. AF1 Feet offers shield skill, AF2 pieces offer bonuses to certain JA's (Rampart, Sentinel)
e. Homam Pants for those /NIN situations
f. Askar Feet

4. I wouldn't spend a ton of money on one if you're looking to get one of the 2 shields, but guys in my LS still use Kaiser when they come on PLD

5. Even with brochain I still run out of MP because mobs take it from you, so 5/5sent+5/5shieldbash | 5/5 fealty + up to you, but I would recommend Chivalry at a minimum. I use it often enough and having done some of the Stage2 stuff on the test server I can foresee continuing to use it

There's no need for Homam if you have wlegs since you can get the same Fast Cast+5% on wlegs now. Speaking of which, there's some decent augments on Martial gear now. Fast Cast/Curepot head, PDT/refresh body, shield skill hands, MDT legs, regen feet.

When do you wear Shield Skill gear over Haste gear? Do you just add them to a -PDT Set?

So I have blm, smn, rdm at 90(Taru) and I think I want to look into leveling a melee job. I need some suggestions though as to what to level! I have a hard time judging classes I see during abyssea exp parties, cause a majority of people in these exp pts ive been in have sucked.

WAR is still your stock full-damage DD, good both inside and outside Abyssea.
SAM is pretty comparable to WAR outside Abyssea, though with less procing utility if you do Voidwatch. It's also a bit better defensively if you need a little safety and may fare better against high-level content.
DRK is ok outside Abyssea, needs a lot of effort to really shine though. Doesn't have much of a place inside Abyssea.
DRG has good damage output but not a lot of utility. Good job for Voidwatch though.
MNK is obviously the bandwagon job inside Abyssea, decent outside but don't expect it to tank quite so easily or do as much damage as the aforementioned jobs.
NIN is very safe if you can roll shadows effectively but is not a good DD outside Abyssea.

I went through Amazon. Steam is crap. Amazon, you download 4 files, one is executable, you run that just like you were installing from a CD. The reg codes are available in your amazon.com account info after you buy in the "my games" section, or something like that.
