Some conflicting information from FFXIclopedia:
Tachi: Kaiten has "can continue Light skillchain" and "has Fragmentation" properties, but the gorgets that will affect Tachi: Kaiten accuracy and damage are the Breeze Gorget and Thunder Gorgets only (due to its Fragmentation property). Neither the Light Gorget nor Flame Gorget will enhance Tachi: Kaiten.

Which one;s correct? I'm not asking specifically about Kaiten, but relic WS in general (and, by extension, empy).

Fair warning, I do not have a relic nor have I played around with one. With that said, I have not heard of that logic before and disagree with it - I believe light/thunder/breeze gorgets and belts should all work. I know you were wanting an answer without such indecisiveness, but yeah.

Same here, I don't see why Light Gorget wouldn't work, but it's written so there for some reason. Just wondering if there's a grain of salt in it.

So just finished up an abyssea session, 5hrs or so (cleaving for CC/Sobek on 8 characters, after 5 hours, had 8 heqet KIs, 8 lizard, 7 guku, 3 orobon... not sure how much I buy the "it's quicker to cleave anyway" thing).
Anyway. Randomly, my cruor buffs, and visitant status wear off in the chatlog (and HP/MP is reduced) but are immididiately reaplied. It happened on both characters whilst I was hovering around chocobo blinker npc in mis coast. Anyone know why? Or is it just some bug?

PLD/DNC or RDM/WHM or BLU/SCH, I could handle 4-5 trash mobs easily at 75. Always capped xp without problems, rdm being my favorite.

I can't find any documented testing for Bio III. Does someone know where it is, or alternatively know of a good method I can use to go do the testing myself? I'm looking to figure out the hp/tick.

Double weaken yourself and then cast it on a level 0 mob. The initial cast will do 0 damage thanks to double weakness and level 0 mobs have few enough HP that each hp value is a unique %.

Mnk question: torque and +2 hands with 8/8 merits at 95 is still doing it's job or torque is not breaking a tier anymore? I did seem to end up thinking it does but I'd love a confirmation if possible D:

At level 95 A+ skill cap is 396 + 16 from merits = H2H skill of 412
412 H2H skill is DMG 48
419 H2H skill(torque or AF3+2 Hands) is DMG 49
426 H2H skill(both) is still DMG 49

Add in Bruiser's Earring for +3 to make 429 H2H skill and it becomes DMG 50

for thf and ninja: gnarled horn, Razed Ruins, Apoc atmas are pretty "standard" you can also use an evasion atma "siren shadow or cloak and dagger" the two best evasion atmas. All on wiki and the nm's that they drop off of etc.

For general war stuff Voracious Violet, RR (razed ruins), AoA (atma of apoc). Side note: instead of VV, Atma of the Sanguine Scythe off of bukhis is also pretty nice but bukhis can be bitchy to get a group/proc for.

a good starter dd atma for dd jobs until you get VV is from chloris, atma of the harvester. Its VV -1 and without the regain but still solid (and what I used when I came back until my LS got me VV).

think thats about it. I came back during 85 cap and I used harvester/razed ruins until I got access to my third abyssite and the better atmas (for my dd jobs). Or gnarled horn(very easy to get and it took me a bit to get atma of the siren shadow)/Razed ruins for my nin and thf.

RR SS Apoc is best evar, esp when Champion's drinks etc are available and it being easy to overcap crit rate when crit rate from TP is calculated into WS etc
