they just said high tide is around 6am for that pier area, which will be when the center of the storm will be nearby

Cat 1, 90MPH as per the weather channel track as of 3AM. The eye is about to skim the edge of NC in a few hours, but its losing steam faster than predicted.

I'm not so much watching the channel as I am watching the tracker app they have on their side. It provides the best overall view of the progression.

Ya know, the ironic side of myself just feels like this pier is gonna handle this hurricane like a boss and come through looking not too shabby. also: I'm not sure if its cause they switched cams but the waves have gotten absolutely insane in the last few mins... Some of them look like 20'+ swells crashing in.
