Edit: getting reports of 4-5 feet of water on the streets in Long Beach.

Edit2: talked to my mother in Freeport and said she sees cars floating down the road.

Pic inc... tree fell in my neighbors front yard, on their Jeep + house... I called 911, cuz i didnt know if any damage to the house/wires or if any1 was even home, operator was basically like..its private property, its on them

That was a huge let down. We got some flooding in Mount Laurel, but nothing crazy enough to justify the kind of doomsday hype and panic that was going on here since Thursday.

Cape May apparently is okay. Minor damage and flooding. Wildwood is fairly flooded. Nothing TOO horrible though~ Not sure what the shoreline looks like off the boardwalk.

Same here in Swedesboro, but based on some of the forecasting it could easily have been a lot worse were it to track west more like some showed. Just driving through town I noted tons of trees that could have been big trouble. Also, tornado reports from Pennsville, Camden, and Vineland did have me worried for a bit there.

Yeah, we had a tornado sighting not too far from here. We definitely missed the worst of it, and I'm glad, but it was such an ordeal for what ended up being so little.

Things just started calming down on Long Island. Rain stopped some time ago, but we're still getting some intense wind gusts every couple of minutes.

Went to sleep @ 3am like nothing happened. Woke and nothing happened. Haven't lost power and barely any branches taken down. A lot of areas are forcibly getting power taken away so it's not all wind/rain related.

I hope everyone gets their shit back asap. Seems like they made a much bigger deal out of this than it should have been

Just got home, and all is well here. Lots of downed trees. There was a good amount of flooding this morning. No one I know got too affected by this. Time to pick up my pets from the shelter!
