Cable that goes between the mainboard and LCD snapped today. Parting out the whole thing. Everything else works 110%, just that stupid cable as I mentioned is broken.

If you have $10-15 (solder/soldering iron) and a some faith in yourself (and a hot glue gun too) u can fix that yourself and save u quite a bit of money.

Tried already, the ribbon is beyond repair (was damaged due to heat from outside) :/

Also if I tried to solder the leads on the ribbon one by one, it would near impossible due to space constraints, probably about 30 leads on the little guy

And the LCD is just cracked with no screen. Can I merge the two together? I am keyboard retarded here but been meaning to try and find a new 1st just because I want it to all work...

the wire goes into the read of the lcd, doesn't look like there any way to "remove" it via clip or anything.
