Decided to give it a shot, just got to 21 and took Staff Mastery. Jesus Christ this skilltree sucks. Game is pretty fun though, although far too easy so far. That Wind Wolf boss was a fun fight though. Also upgrading weapons in this is cruel, took my staff to +5 and it reset to 0 when I tried to +6 it. Tried to get it to +5 again and it reset once again going from 4 > 5. Ran outta enhancement stones now... has anyone come across them outside of quest rewards? You can synthesize them with fragments but I think the only fragments I've got so far were from a quest too... Anyway, IGN is Jam. Gonna go see if I can take down the 3-4 player Wind Wolf by myself...

Edit: Nevermind just got 1 weapon stone fragment from chest at the end of that quest.

Yeah the Wind Wolf was easy too. Just took a while since staff is weak as fuck, lol. Started a GS character lastnight to try it out and it does more damage at level 5 than my staff does at 20... I hope those party buffs are really fucking good, because that weapon is pretty worthless otherwise.

Is this the actual game or an open Beta? I read the forums and most of it seems to be about Bug Testing, and I can't imagine being able to obtain Gold Leaves that sell for 100g at level 1 is intuitive to the games design when I can just buy every armor piece without having to worry about gathering / crafting.

Yeah I realized that last night. CBT>OBT are always wipes. I do believe that hunter reward is legit but they may have just changed it for testing purposes. Either way I'm enjoying it and will be playing OBT when it happens. You can abuse jade shells by making new characters and using the ticket on that character(jade shells are account bound).

All the free shit is just for CB. Dunno if I'll still play once OB/release starts but it's a fun timekill for now. Just wish more people were playing, fucking impossible to find groups unless it's against something I can kill in a single damn hit.
