Semantics, really. The term Judaism generally refers to the religion, but there is a separate term for jewish ethnicity. I can't remember what it is at the moment, though.

Neither. Tribal names are preferred. i.e. Cherokee, Lumbee, etc.

Edit: It's partially because many feel that the term Native American is as much of an insult as being called an Indian. They're both just as inaccurate if you think about it from their perspective.
