Random insect question

So a huge cockroach flew by and landed on my KB. Since I didn't have any blunt objects I felt like messing up and the idea of him flying around while I try to approach him with a tissue wasn't appealing, I decide to vacuum him (Had to use the hand vacuum mode since all the other modes wouldn't have held him). At first I thought I could let him sit there and starve since the bag has been cleaned recently, but then someone brought up the fact that he might eat his way out. That in itself won't be a problem unless he can approach/damage the electronic component of the vacuum since he's too big to actually escape the containment, but I am concerned about destruction to the vacuum. Would it be best to get him out now (idk where I would do that, but it ain't gonna be within my room!) or was my original idea good?

Many people mistakenly believe that roaches need what we consider "food" to survive. They don't. They can survive off of things like sawdust. It probably won't die anytime soon, even in a "clean" vacuum bag.

Go dump it outside.

I did think of dumping him; it was a matter of when. It seems I have the answer though. The where part was me being indecisive.

He was moving around too much for me to squash him with anything I have at the moment (Bare room for now). Window cannot be opened, but I'll just take the elevator and let him roll out.

Fun fact: most roach nymphs survive on the adults' feces for their first few weeks.

I was interested in precisely what Kohan mentioned and thought people here knew these random facts, so I asked. Also, he either flew out really fast (And it's dark outside) or he cast invisible because this fucker was no where to be seen when I opened up the vacuum.
